There is no doubt that Reagan was the last loyal President we had. He understood the importance of peace through strength, limited government, and basic economics. Thanks to Reagan, we no longer have to worry about being nuked by Russia, simply because the Russians realized that Reagan was serious about winning the cold war, and their economy couldn't keep up with ours.

All you have to do is look at North Korea, and South Korea. You have two countries side by side with everything the same except economic systems. It's obvious that capitalism works. The closer you get to communism, the worse your economy will get, and socialism is only one step away. In fact, the main difference between socialism and communism is that with socialism you get to vote in the people who take most of your paycheck.

As Ross Perot said back in the 90's when he ran for President. We tried big government, it didn't work. It left us $5 trillion in debt. Well unfortunately, democrats didn't listen. Instead they used his campaign to split the republican vote and put Clinton in office. Clinton then signs NAFTA and China and now the budget surpluses are gone forever or at least until we get a President and Congress who won't lie about cancelling NAFTA in order to get elected.

The really scary part is that some people like Jesse Jackson claim that deficits and the national debt don't matter. Well the reality is that each citizen even children now owe about $40k on the national debt. That means that almost all of us would have to sell our homes to cover our debt, our childrens debt, and the people who don't own homes.

If that's not an illusionary economy, I don't know what is, and it all stems from liberals and rino's. True conservative government is the only answer.

Keep on dreaming. reagan had nothing to do with the breakup of the USSR.  Name one thing he did that kept the US safer than any other President. His act of letting over 300 Marines be a massacred in Lebanon is nothing short of Treason

By the way, our democratic congress now is starting to accelerate the $100,000 block grants for slum neighborhoods. What are they doing with them??? They are building recreation centers every few blocks AKA pool halls.

This is how the government creates jobs.

Here in NY, we spent it on maintaining infrastructure, i.e., construction jobs.

Can't speak for what your state did with it.

Still reflects great incompetence and while there was no tactical or strategic benefit to that operation in any way.

Well see there's your problem right there. You still haven't figured out that half the republicans are republicans in name only. They are not true conservatives. In Bush's defense though, I will say that it is acceptable to go into debt during war time. Even FDR did that. Conservatives also said NO to Bush's Mars Program, but if we had known that obama was going to spend OUR money like a drunk sailor, we would have supported it 100%. At least that way we would actually accomplish something, rather than just fund pool halls.

And unfortunately, neither did Republicans. The national debt grew by more than $4 trillion during George W. Bush's presidency, the biggest increase under any president in U.S. history, and with Republicans controlling the House and Senate from 1995 to 2007.

I don't watch television at all. You should try it. Get outside. Enjoy the day.

I have no idea why you think this is a relevant point.

So a party already to the right moves further to the right. That accomplishes what? Since there's nothing on the right taking votes, it's an abandonment of moderate votes.

Not to mention the fantasy that if something doesn't work, do it lots more as a solution.

All I hear from the right is the power struggle. No ideas. No plans. No solutions. Just a return to failed policies.

Let's also talk about the hundreds of thousands that democrats have killed over the past 50 years by supporting abortion, and half of them are black.
