I think that`s why many listeners are tuning in,the fireworks.

No, you are wrong.  You, like others, are assuming I know this woman, when today was the first time I heard her show.  I have ideals, just like everyone else, and I realize they are not common.   However, I had thought on a BDSM forum, there would be some tolerance for difference. 

I heard today a woman who was doing nothing but advising bratty, imature girls to stop sniveling and quit the theatrical performances with their husbands.  What she told them was to discuss, as adults, in a rational manner, instead of using deceit and the threat of "no sex".    I see nothing wrong with this.  

To say I agree with binding of souls and hearts, when you have no idea how I live, or what I do believe in, is just as wrong as me forming a solid opinion of Dr Laura without having all the facts.  

It's hard enough living in a world that doesn't agree with your way of thinking, so when I am made aware of someone, that for one hour at least, I found enjoyable...of course I was excited to ask others about her.    Hindsight being 20/20, next time I will Google first.

She`s the Ann Coulter of Dr. shows.If I`m not mistaken,she`s not a Dr. but rather holds a PHD.

She represents a conservative patriarchal POV that many still have,which is cool.

She`s also a phony and a horrible person.

You just happened to post about someone with a not so hot history.

I wonder though......how would the Dr. feel about the life?

Ha! Ha ha ha...why julia? lol...I have had three cocktails and now I have to go to bed with that visual, Dr. Laura's ginormous bush. Sweet. That was disturbing.

Status: offline 		Somewhat reminds me of this american radio DJ who had a programme celebrating men's superiority to women. He'd open up his talk show to mostly female callers and challenge them to disprove his position, and tear them new ones at the rate of 10 per hour.

He did get a few women genuinely asking how to improve their subservience to their menfolk, and gave them some very effective advice, but for the most part he was mostly a shock-jock.

Thanks to everyone here for the opinions shared on the good Dr., y'all know who you are :)

After spending far too much time reading, I've come to the conclusion that while I agree with part of what she is saying, it is tainted by the thick layer of BS on top.  I guess I just got lucky and heard one of her "better" programs yesterday, cuz theres a whole bunch of her comments on the web that left me going "huh?".

This is why I'm only allowed out on special occassions and every other Tuesday....it's safer and prettier in my lil world.  

Now that my balloon has popped, I think a batch of Jello is in order.  Laters..... :)
