A mosque is not a monument of terrorism, it is a place of worship, a place of peace. Allow it to be built, then monitor its activites. If it is shown to support terrorism, then the symbolism of bulldozing the mosque to the ground would be much more powerful than just preventing its erection in the first place. personally I just don't see what the big deal is....just how far from the WTC site is far enough for a mosque...3 blocks, 30, 300...10 miles....its not like they are planning on building a mosque on the WTC site for fuck's sake

Moniter it's activities ? How in the world are you going to do that ? Maybe since we are being nice and letting them build it, they will let us put cameras in it.

The ad's also wrong. They don't even have the funds for the mosque yet and there is no planned opening date. The Sept 11 2011 date was literally pulled out of someone's ass.

Personally, I can see why it would upset New Yorkers. I know not all muslims are terrorists and I'm sure they do too, but alot of people in that area lost alot of loved ones because terrorists, who also pray to jihad or the same god that people will be honoring in that mosque.

What does any "world order" have to do with being in 2 wars? I realize that you believe there is some massive organization running the planet, but that doesn't mean it's true. We chose to go to war, we choose to remain in a war... or not.

There are folks who actually find a way to look at cars, sit in them, and even operate them, after losing their family in a vehicle accident. There are people that wear suits at the place where they see their loved one in the casket wearing suits. There are people who advocate war across this globe even now, after all the death in Iraq for no reason.There are people who still eat after watching their loved ones choke to death on a KFC bone. If those people can only connect american mosques to that event and thats what they get out of it and the republicans should have voted money for their treatment in that bill they resoundly defeated, because there is a great deal of mental issues to deal with out there.

Considering that the Catholic church instituted the doctrine of holy war (aka jihad) under St. Augustine, would you also oppose the construction of one of their churches in that area, or is it just mosques? When we don't pay attention to history, only the players change, while the story stays the same. Scratch your 9/11 against the 9/11's you have pulled, and start with a fresh scoreboard.
