This question is simple. I would want my master/mistress to be stronger, faster, smarter, cunning, witty, charming, beautiful inside and out. Above all, conscious and not on hard drugs. Oral sex is nice too so tasty is another qualifier.

You have to be someone worth submitting to, if you want one. If you want a sub of value, then you need to be a dominant of value to get one and to keep him/her loyal to you. I'm obedient to him because he's worth obeying. To anyone else who assumes because I wear the submissive label I wouldn't be obedient or submissive to. He's earned my respect, my love and my devotion. You need to earn that from yours also if you want to have one.

Why would someone stay with a person that they are not happy with? And why would I want someone who was not GLAD to be serving me?
