Nothing new there. Newt is a slimy piece of work. A fine example of Republican hypocrisy, do as I say but pay no attention to what I do. How any of these people on the right can take him seriously is beyond me.

This man left his first wife while she was recovering from cancer surgery for his second.... could she really expect he would treat her better? I mean, really, I find her protestations about how morally reprehensible he is to be a little bit of pot-kettle-black after the way their relationship started[8\|]

And he seems to be inserting himself back into politics again and is going for the teabagger/Islamophobe/radical crowd.I`m sure rich loves him. As for the wife,I believe her.She was as much a victim as anyone else. The dig that she must be as bad as newty because she slept with him was pretty low class. But at least bio isn`t attacking board members for calling out cons,now she`s attacking public figures who call out cons.That`s an improvement.[8D] Newt is also credited,I think accurately as the one who brought the present nasty to politics. When Trudeau cartooned him,he was a bomb,in reference to newty`s nick "the bomb thrower".It was the old timey, round black bomb w/ the smoking fuse. Trudeau`s cartoon for bush was just a cowboy hat,floating there,referencing "all hat and no cowboy".[:D]

Agreed. But if a smash mouth was throwing elbows and dropping bombs at a work place,the dog park,a squade room,a shop,a club,an association or any gathering ,eventually it`s going to come back around and ruin moral.The leader of any body should set the example as well as push their agendas. He was their leader and choose this bombastic approach to governing.His legacy,politics by character assassination,.... remains. Really,what else do the republicans have to offer?

The article is a succinct recap of Newt's history. How horrifying. If the majority of Republicans were to get behind him in 2012, I would lose all hope for this country.
