Your correct to a degree, Kirata. But the Tea Party was of British colonists, while the War of Indepedence was American citizens. That is the important distinction between the two events.

Why would we owe anyone anything?  We are number 1.   we are FREE.  we are independent. we are the world reserve currency.  we OWN the printing press.

Partly because a small national debt is 'normal' and not problematic (if growth in the national debt servicing costs is less or equal to than growth in governmental income (due to GDP growth, not due to tax changes) then the debt is falling or remaining static in 'real terms', but the govt has extra cash to spend on (hopefully) helpful shit), mostly because your electorate is stupid enough to think you can get shit for free, and constantly rails against paying enough taxes to enable the govt to actually afford what it does.

I'm an Oath Keeper. I regret the need for such a group. It's easier to question the need than the intent.

Reid has an awful lot of money, Angle has said some really impolitic things, and the race is still a nailbiter that will probably come down to intensity. All we need, really, is for Pelosi/Reid/0bama0 to keep on spending money, but it'll help if 0 keeps on bowing and scraping to foreign leaders, Michelle Antoinette goes to Rio, and another few multiterm Dims go up on ethics charges.

Well, and Angle keeps her feet outta her mouth.

An now for something completely different:

A series of Gallup polls conducted March 26-28, May 24-25, and June 11-13, 2010, show that 79% of the tea partiers are conservative Republicans, 15% are Democrats, and only 6% are independents.
This is not entirely surprising since the initial organization and funding for the tea party rallies came from  Freedom Works, a group run by former House majority leader Dick Armey (R).


Message : Do not believe the media hype about this being a true "independent" movement.  It is not, as demonstrated by these poll numbers.
