ORIGINAL: juliaoceania Okay, since nothing is being said about this loon, I thought I would take it upon myself to start a thread about her. She is running for the unpopular Harry Reid's senate seat, and is blowing it because she is fairly much a nutbag... how much of a nutbag? She wants to privatize social security, she is against fluoridation of the water, she is against abortion in the case of rape and incest. She told people if she loses her supporters will have to turn to "second amendment remedies"... etc etc etc... The real story is, how could she lose to Harry Reid? Well that is what this article is about http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0728/How-did-Sharron-Angle-blow-an-11-point-lead-on-Harry-Reid-in-seven-weeks Here is another link about more of her nutbaggery in being involved with a group called the "Oath Keepers" http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/06/10/angle_oath_keepers An now for something completely different: A series of Gallup polls conducted March 26-28, May 24-25, and June 11-13, 2010, show that 79% of the tea partiers are conservative Republicans, 15% are Democrats, and only 6% are independents. This is not entirely surprising since the initial organization and funding for the tea party rallies came from Freedom Works, a group run by former House majority leader Dick Armey (R). Message : Do not believe the media hype about this being a true "independent" movement. It is not, as demonstrated by these poll numbers. Independently, Some Knucklehead in NJ
