juliaoceania -> Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:06:55 PM)

Okay, since nothing is being said about this loon, I thought I would take it upon myself to start a thread about her. She is running for the unpopular Harry Reid's senate seat, and is blowing it because she is fairly much a nutbag... how much of a nutbag? She wants to privatize social security, she is against fluoridation of the water, she is against abortion in the case of rape and incest. She told people if she loses her supporters will have to turn to "second amendment remedies"... etc etc etc...

The real story is, how could she lose to Harry Reid? Well that is what this article is about

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0728/How-did-Sharron-Angle-blow-an-11-point-lead-on-Harry-Reid-in-seven-weeks

Here is another link about more of her nutbaggery in being involved with a group called the "Oath Keepers"

"how much of a nutbag?.....she is against abortion in the case of rape and incest"

Abortion is one of the trickiest moral issues that ever actually occurs in reality, don't call people nutbags just because they have a different view on it.

pahunkboy -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:23:41 PM)

-   Dont get me started about the poison in the water.

Jeffff -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:26:56 PM)

Please dont!

DCWoody -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:29:28 PM)

And you're complaining about toothpaste....

pahunkboy -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:29:50 PM)

I nearly used up the 6 gallons I ran out to buy.     It is a bummer- that I have to burn all that gas.  It is like 12 miles round trip.

mnottertail -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:32:43 PM)

the stuff you go out to buy has the mind altering NWO chemicals in it.  the stuff under your house has just been recyled with a little piss and shit.  you decide.

Please stay on topic and do not derail the thread into an abortion debate... her views on abortion are WAY outside of the mainstream

DCWoody -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:36:14 PM)

.....does pah know that bottled water has fluoride in it too?

I know I'd feel foolish....

pahunkboy -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:36:16 PM)

If she wants to win- she ought to be more like Rand Paul.   A libertarian.

clean water is a good thing

DCWoody -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:39:10 PM)

You put the anti-abortion view in the extreme nutjob category, with pahs stuff....don't blame me for starting a debate...

SorceressJ -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 2:44:39 PM)

This comment is fully on topic:

See what a slippery slope that is.

pahunkboy -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 4:15:39 PM)

You do know that Wall Street wants privatized Social Security.

so- if this is actually her goal- she is not a good choice.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/13/sharron-angle-on-privatiz_n_681726.html

Think who wins via a privatized SS.    WALL STREET.

The other thing- how is it- one person can decide the whole fate.  It would have to be a consensus.   ie- the bilk of congress.

Yes, the best example the Tea Party has to offer America. They actually want clones of her, if you believe the conspiracy theorists.

The actual quote is funny, if not disturbing. Yes, Harry Reid, even posted her former website, She threaten to sue, because it 'explained' her viewpoints on alot of things (before someone, alot less, insane, redid the website). She complained that Senator Reid had no right to show her thoughts on issues to the public, but more then happy to show Harry Reid's if it advances her position. (READ: Hypocrit)

Personally, Mr. Reid has done more to advance his state, then those Republicans within it. Or to use a phrase from Republicans just a few years ago "Do we change leaders during a [economic] crisis?"

If your a Republican, this ISNT, trickly to figure out. Your automatically against it, because Democrats are always for it. And even if Democrats, arent for it, Republicans are STILL, against it.

Trust me, this women is a 'nutjob'. The sort, that attracts other nutjobs. They formed an organization within the Republican Party. Take a guess at its name. Has something to do with a bunch of Brits commiting acts of treason against their King in 1773.

Yes, the OTHER, nutjob running for public office. There is a guy, who really should rethink some of his concepts.

Do you honestly think either him or her, if they got in to office, would be of much to advance America? No, they just be a pair of mindless flunkies that vote as their master's order.

However, there is a group that off-sets this organization, known as the Tea Party: The Coffee Party. Since, it is well understood, ALL Tea Party members will vote for Republican. Even if the canidate's views are completely opposite of conservatives. The Coffee Party, actually debates the issues. Yes I know, debating an issue, is for liberals; and walking 'locked in step' is for a conservative. Still, would you rather get your caffine fix? Or get the shits from drinking tea.

thornhappy -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 4:48:39 PM)

So did a lot of Republicans, until recently.

I buy reverse osmosis- and there is none it that- the place claims.  It really isnt even about the cost- but I have to run out and haul the water.   It is worth the price- but you are correct- just because you buy the good water- does not mean is is free of toxins- in this case- fluoride.   Good point.

I am against ANY type of privatization of Social Security.   This is not negotiable.

DarkSteven -> RE: Sharron Angle - Tea Party Sweetheart (8/13/2010 5:25:07 PM)

They likely still do, but know better than to be vocal about it.  Really bad time to suggest sending more money to Wall Street.
