20. How accurate is this test? Because, i found some of the questions kind of vague.

pam

Ah, that might be the difference in thinking then, for I did not find any vagueness in the questions, but I scored 40 and you 20

We're reversed. I scored higher on the aspie and less on the neuro.

Did you save your pdf?

I took the test... it is fun but nonsense...I scored 46 of 200 Aspie and 157 of 200 Neuro... But this test is like a horoscope...fun to read but no substance...at least with me.

I answered the questions honestly but the results do not reflect...ME. For instance the results say I am not dyslexic...but in fact I am severely diagnosed as just that.

It says I am great in social situations… not the case.

It says I like social interactions… not the case.

On and on it has missed the mark with me.

I'm not sure how it could have missed the mark if you answered honestly. Not that it's scientifically exact but it's set up with certain responses with specific answers that are then reflected in numeric ends.

In other words you can't score high on social situations if you don't answer positively towards them.

I did... really...lol...I guess there are always those, like me that don't think in absolutes. Otherwise I answered many questions as somewhat rather then the extremes. By doing this the test must have miscalculated... but with the Dyslexia I have no idea how the test could have miscalculated so badly.

I guess 150 questions don't a life describe.

I scored a 30, lol.

PTSD affected some of my answers, and I found some to be repetitive...like variations of the same question.

I put this into favorites because I wonder how my son will score.  He has autism.

http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php
From that one, I scored 132/200 on the Aspie one, and 82/200 for the non-Aspie.

I always put it down to being blonde, having PTSD, and stuff.  That would be funny if my son had a major weakness for autism inherited from me.

I too scored a 30... and i'm in the humanities!!

I suspect the questionnaire and/or scoring doesn't do quite enough to distinguish between introversion and aspergeriness?

Interesting test/results...thanks for the link.

Results: 130 of 200-aspie score
95 of 200-neurotypical score

Curiouser and curiouser.

An interesting test, perhaps more engaging than the one I linked, but I did it anyway and my results are as follows ;

Aspie score 156 out of 200
NT score 58 out of 200

Yeah, I know it.

Interesting though, some of the questions baffled me in the way that it seemed to be asking two different things, which can't have a definitive answer so I left them  as  a question mark, perhaps it is those type of questions are in there, designed to catch those that have difficulty in reading abstractly.

But as a seperate thought on these tests we all play, is anyone aware posting their results on the forum might have a detrimental effect on them as a poster or indeed person seeking an other for witwd.

Take the heated P and R forum for example, you know that place that seems to bring out the worst in erstwhile believed reasonable people, someone, a poster taking tests such as these and arriving at a result different from the  median, a result which might suggest to a reader that the testee is in their thoughts; stark raving bonkers, it could be viewers might even ignore that persons contributions in future or even respond to them in a way that is known to be confusing to them.

A.. personally, I think that anyone reading the forums should have a fairly good idea of who I am by now, these test results, notwithstanding.

Understand the consequences of my actions and really don't care what other posters think. I'm more than a result.
