I guess that would depend on the quality of the hotel. They wouldnt be serving it at the Super 8!

In -- Eight O'Clock coffee. Tasty and affordable. A cut above the common brands.

New England coffee is also good, slightly more than Eight O'Clock.

Its ok, but its not better than Dunkin Donuts. Its ok for a cheap cheap price but comparatively...meh.

You beat me to it!  That was the one I was going to suggest!  My fav! 

And I have a French press, I also like to use those little things they use to make Thai and Vietnamese coffee, I have a couple of those.  Drip machines suck, you can't clean out those tubes, and I know they say to use the vinegar, but I haven't seen it work.

I have a friend who religiously goes to Starbucks every day. The other day she confessed that what she likes about Starbucks is...cups! Yep, she said she could care less for any of their drinks, but she goes there for Starbucks cups! Pretty good honestly. I'm something of a coffee snob. I ordered mine for years from maui coffee company and ground it cup by lovely cup. It was damned pricey though.

Even so, my brother is the one who got me into the singles market. You can vary the strength by the amount of water you use. They're good for decent strength at a full cup. A bit less water gets you stronger coffee.

Its not the best by any means, but it is a decent cup of coffee, fairly cheap and for me, a great answer to the fact that I hate coffee in a pot that's been there more than a few minutes.

Status: offline 		I usually make my coffee at home with a Black & Decker coffee pot, and Maxwell House Master Blend coffee.  A little sweetener and 1/2 & 1/2 and I'm good to go.

If you have one of those glass carafes that sits on a hot plate, all you are doing is burning the coffee.

An insulated carafe without the hot plate is the only way to go.

I have one of these, It keeps the coffee nice and hot for up to 30-40 min.

I use a 4 cup and I turn it off one it is brewed.   If I want more I brew more.

It also wastes electricity to just leave the hot plate on.  How much can you possibly drink in one sitting?

Heck dont be a tightwad- brew another pot!!!

She probably means the ceramic ones that they have for sale.  They do have some nice coffee cups on sale there.  As for their drip coffee, there are few Starbucks coffee places you can go into without smelling the stench from their coffee pots because they fail to CLEAN them!  That had to be the WORST coffee I ever had the misfortune to throw money away on!  YUCK!

As for coffee pots, I said it before and I'll say it again, the best pot is a French press or one of these:
