You see, being a southern boi, my family, unfortunately, had ties to the group. And, like the WBC, Americans for the Truth about Homosexuality, and other hate groups, I like to keep an eye on the enemy. Burying my head in the sand and saying unenforceable, angry shit like "we should just shoot them all" doesn't help me stay prepared to deal with the groups as a real threat and only makes me look like an extremist asshole.

No, saying we should shoot them all doesn't help. But sometimes it feels good to vent. I guess today I am just in a shoot them all kind of mood. Must be time to get off the internet and head for a park.

I find it is easier to condemn a large group of people.

It saves my brain all kinds of work. Who wants to do all that thinking?

domyngblk it is obivous u r not from the south! Many of the rednecks are democratic because a long time ago the republicans wooped their great great grandpappy's ass.

My parents were born and raised in alabama, I was born in Miss, but thank God was raised in the a.f....( lived in several places. )

The KKK was started by a group of ex rebs who had nothing else to do so they rode (drunk) thru the black villages covered in white sheets (the ghost of fallen rebs) just to scare the blacks. course it grew from there.

they are totally out of line and should be ashamed to even exist, when I was in my 20's living in Mississippi with husband (who was in a.f.) local friends came over and some a.f. buddies were at the house. one of locals made a rude comment about one of my black friends. I told the locals to leave in no uncertian terms. they apologized, sencerly, turned out the boy who made the coment came from a clan family....after hanging with us for a while he had an awakening. when he refused to go to another clan meeting his father threw him out of the house.

they are not as big as they used to be, but unfortunally they are still around, still ignorant and democratic
Although...... they may not still be dem's after Obama was elected! LOL

the KKK was started by and is still full of democrats. a lot of the crazy people listed as rabid republicans were not republicans, more than not, they were apolitical. few christians support killers who attack abortion clinics or their dr.'s.

as to the right wing talk show host, u hear a statement taken out of context and assume its fact. u have obivously never taken the time to listen to them. once again painting with a broad brush and repeating what the left wing media tells u is occuring. today hannity had a radical muslim, a converted (away from islam) muslim lady and a moderate muslim on his show, it was not all one sided as the lib media would have u believe. yes, beck and others have pointed out parts of the islam faith that condems all non muslims, but as beckh has said often he does not believe all muslims feel this way. but u do not hear that that part of his speech.

off to bed ffor Me,
good night

OH yeah, down here in Jawja we see lots of good-ole boy Klanners drivin' their pickemups with the gun racks and the dixie flag tag on the front bumper to the polls to vote for black folk. That's how Cynthia McKinney got elected, not to mention Obama. The Southern Klan Democrat vote. >snort< >cackle<

What I find interesting is that at least a few of the monsters mentioned in the OP did not identify as "republican" or "Conservative" in fact more than one of them identifies(or did) as "anti-government". But those are facts and that shouldn't get in the way of understanding social reactions, human nature, or partisan bullshit parading around as moral high ground.

boi

PS. I LOVE when folk start talking about the KKK as a "religious hate group". I don't support their actions and damnit they're some fucked up folks in that little club. However, the Klan started out making movements and threats to intimidate Republican party members after the end of the American civil war. In fact, the latest organized version of the Klan has created it's own political party called the "Knights Party".

Boi, that's true about the KKK, all of them identified as Democrats and hated "The Party of Lincoln."
Funny that some consider Timothy Mc Veigh as a "conservative" when he was really "anti-government" and a leftist-anarchist. It must be the "camos" I guess!

I think it’s a local decision and everyone should back off now and cool their heels.

I think it's crazy how everyone (alot anyway) assign wackos to a political party.

So, are gang bangers left or right?

Are drug dealers left or right?

Are prostitutes and pimps left or right?

I mean one side or the other must be to blame?

Or so it appears, from the talk around here.

I just want to be clear in my head when I'm adding up which side is to blame.

We could always ask them to dumb it down for you if you think that might help?
