Is anyone surprised? Multinational corporations own us. They do. I like to be Owned, but only by my Owner. Unless people become willing to risk life and limb to help those who work for corporations realize the stooges they have been with the power they have had, nothing will happen. Get off your (ass) forum and DO SOMETHING!

Yeah, no conflict of interest there, huh?

GE, which owns MSNBC, gave equal amounts to both major parties.

It's a bad omen. But it's not like anyone doesn't know FOX and the WSJ editorial page are rapidly right--or like they could move any further right.

Soros contributes 10s of millions through his various front organizations.

Am I missing something here?

Does George Soros own a television network or any newspapers?

There is nothing to debate except name calling. What is to debate is whether FOX news crossed the line in allowing political contributions. They did. Enought said. That netword should be taken off the air.

I would edit to add mistakes, but it's too late for those 'tards who take pleasure in typos.

Saying there is nothing to debate on a P&R forum....bit of an oxymoron....we could do with fewer morons, truth be known
but BTW welcome to the board

FOX isn't a legitimate news organization.

The administration sure seemed to take them pretty seriously when doing their puppet dance to the story of Shirley from Ag. Have you forgotten about that already?

I know. Denial is cheaper than therapy, right?

Sanity -> RE: News Corp (Fox News owners) donate to GOP (8/20/2010 6:34:28 AM)

No, Conservatives dont habitually obsess over media corporations like the left does, even the ones who are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in left field such as MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times, Time, PBS, and so on.

PBS is not way out in left field in terms of news, it is one of the only actual news organizations left.   I challenge you to find the screaming headlines, or slobbering neo-con shows, or even motormouthed leftwing shows.  They ALWAYS give equal time to both sides on their political segments.  And don't forget, it was the only network would carry William F. Buckley.

Try some facts occasionally.  You know, mix it up, Tom. One trick ponies are boooooooooooooooooooooooooooring.

It doesnt surprise PBS' bias escapes you mnot, as when youre tuned in theyre preaching to the choir.

mnottertail -> RE: News Corp (Fox News owners) donate to GOP (8/20/2010 7:53:43 AM)

you find bias in a sheet of ice, tom.  it might just be that your views are not widely held and there is no bias, it just aint something anyone wants to engage in, or be seen around.

How often have you watched PBS?

How often have you listened to NPR?

Sanity -> RE: News Corp (Fox News owners) donate to GOP (8/20/2010 7:58:29 AM)

Try again, mnot. In the age of the Internet PBS's far left bias trail is well defined and documented.
