I didn't realise he had such a tiny head compared to his shoulders, reminds me of that film.

As opposed to those of us who knew that Obama has a tiny brain compared to his ego?

That's because If John McCain had won, everything would be just peachy now.

McCain win, stress induced heart attack, President Palin....so incompetant that your civil servants end up going all....damn I forget the name of that french dude who was just sat in an office somewhere by his servants, and they gave him papers to sign and fancy dinners and stuff and let him think he was ruling?....on her. Use her as Batman (They'll hate you for it, but that's the point of Batman, he can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice) to actually sort shit out, balance the budget, kick out the illegal immigrants, stop funding Israel etc?

Dark humor: that which is actually funny (which the original post is; I have an extensive collection of "motivational posters" and that one is in it).
Yet another grinding political thread for people to argue and get endlessly and pointlessly upset about: not so much.
Here, I offer the following to help lighten the load, and *NO* I am not even sort of a racist so don't even go there; "dark humor", remember?:

Things were so screwed up when G.W. Bush left that no matter who got elected, it was inevitable that they would have gotten the blame for the clusterfuck.

Obama, McMain, Jubal Harshaw... it wouldn't have made much difference and it is going to take a long time to get things back on track.

Obama's biggest issue is that he isn't Saint Obama. He can't possibly fix everything that is broken because nobody knows the extent of the breakage yet.

I didn't know you could just declare your lack of racism like this. Awesome. Not racist either.

Sure you can, DC. Some people on these threads actually say what they mean and mean what they say, know it's a fact from within themselves, and couldn't give a rat's ass less beyond that.
More non-racist dark humor involving a fat chick who's more flexible than me, dammit:

I think there were better people out there (on both sides) but the powers that be didnt have them running.

2 reasons, I feel he was more qualified than Obama and I feel that after putting up with the hell of the "Hanoi Hilton" nothing a hostile congress could throw at him would affect him much.

There's also the historical fact that the country runs better when Congres and the POTUS are of different parties.

I think my main point was about the massive potential argument on the definition of racism, and that these days it's mostly a perception, different people will think different things are/aren't racist, it's not something you can necessarily definitively declare in the same way you can say 'I'm not 6ft 2'.

Simply googling definitions of racism gets you things such as: (boldings and brackets mine)

The belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others (depending on your interpretation of 'hereditary factors', this is very open to debate...is not culture hereditary?)

discrimination on the basis of race, especially against blacks and other non-whites. (racism against white people is less racist?)

Bear in mind that those are dictionary definitions, not even starting on all the bullshit individuals come up with...and the extreme wobblyness of the entire concept of 'race', and, IMO, it's near impossible to say something is/isn't racist authoritatively...even the BNPers insist most strongly that they're not racist.

Racism is, IMO a meaningless label for people to argue over, and at best a percieved attribute attributed (or not) to something/someone by different observers, certainly not anything instrinsic. I am pretty confident there are things I have done or said (like perhaps posting that pic) that many many people would call racist, but I don't think anyone who knows me would suggest I am (although there are definitions of racism which include discrimination based on religion or culture, by which I am racist as all fuck)...I just think it's a meaningless argument in a word, and proclaiming your lack of it is akin to proclaiming that you're not mean.......I'm sure you've done things some would consider mean, I don't think anyone would think to argue particularly strongly if someone suggested they'd done or said something mean.....agree to disagree, matter of opinion....but say racist instead of mean, and it's a whole shitstorm.

I am not really sure what my point is or was particularly, and I'm derailing your derailment, but possibly someone reading may sort of get my point.
Anyways
