Status: offline 		i am a slave in a new situation just a month in service, my question is how do Y/you handle it when you or Yours gets sick?
i think i have bronchitis, and am taking some antibiotics left over from my Owners wife, she wont take them,, lol

It started the other day when i kept falling asleep, not normal for me, got hollered at for it sent to my room,
i felt like crud because of it, didnt know i was coming down with anything yet..

then came the cough chills and just tightness in my chest.
i was sent to bed early the other night and allowed to sleep in yesterday but still feeling pretty poorly,
i still want to do my normal duties, but feel like i cant, i am torn

Status: offline 		I look after my girl, makes sure she's ok, take her favourite soup up to her in bed. I'll do whatever it takes to make sure she gets well and is comfortable.

Two things about this.

1. You should never take prescription medication that is meant for someone else. It can be dangerous.

2. If your owner cares about you then he will be understanding of your situation and will want you healthy and back on your feet again. The only way to do that is for you to take a bit of time out and get better. I am sure your owner understands how rough you feel and you would only make it worse by trying to do too much before you are recovered.

Status: offline 		Don't they have doctors in your neck of the woods? Taking other people's meds is just too cavalier to comprehend, esp when you don't actually *know* what you're suffering from...!

It's not acceptable for my girl to be sick. So when it does happen and depending how sick she is/feels etc, she's on light duties or off to the doctors and/or no duties at all - that's when I take over being her slave for awhile.... I even throw in the odd "Yes, Mistress" when she's on the mend; that tends to get a sub's bones motivated to stop slacking her days away in a sick bed.

You've been ordered to sleep in.  Shujin knows you're sick and is making sure you take care of yourself.

One of the advantages to slavery is that you have someone to follow.  Follow him and be happy that he's making you take care of your own needs.  Right now, your body's need to rest and heal is more important than your drive to serve.

Status: offline 		Just echoing what others said about not taking someone else's medications.  In particular with antibiotics the doctor always tells the patient to ensure they take the entire course of tablets.

I would treat her like a vanilla girlfriend and take her ass to the doctor. Then I would make sure she took care of herself until she got better. Then when she was 100%, I might beat her ass just to show I care.

I regress when I get really sick, does that count?

Actually I am not surprised that an adult asks this. I have seen people post on thread here about how they are "true slaves" because their masters fuck them when they want irregardless of the slaves health at the time. I have seen them brag because they were in so much pain they puked during sex and all the master did was make them clean it up after he got off. I personally wouldn't put up with that kind of treatment, but I guess others really get into it. At least the OP has enough sense to question it, instead of blindly following anything her owner has said.

What the heck?! I can't imagine living after such treatment, much less living with the guy who did it to me. Yuck, yuck and yuck.

OP, look, we're all human beings. You have every right to your health, regardless of how submissive you are. Go to a doctor and get proper medicine.

Status: offline 		when a slave gets sick i believe they are usually discarded... so it is best to pretend not to be ill and carry on as normal... having fun about taking someone elses pills and taking some time out between chores to post some strange question seems to fit right in there somehow

Status: offline 		If your car is running rough, you dont take it on a long trip, you take it to a mechanic.  If your house has a leaky roof, you have it fixed, If your bicycle gets a flat tire, you get the tube patched/replaced.

If your property needs repairs/maintenence/mending, a GOOD owner will see to it.  Why should it be different with a good sub/slave?

If your sub/slave is ill or injured, you get them rest and/or an appointment with a health care pro.  It's just good ownership practice.

Being told to sleep in is NOT punishment.

Status: offline 		Don't take half a scrip of leftover antibiotics. They may well not be appropriate for what you have plus if it isn't a long enough course you'll develop pneumonia with antibiotic resistant bugs. At which point you won't be sent to bed, you'll be sent to the hospital.

Go see a doctor and be honest about what you took.

LOL, I think we all regress when sick, but that is not what I meant. I guess since I don't possess the slave gene and am used to knowing what to do to take care of myself when I get ill, I did question a grown woman asking this. Everyone knows you don't take other people's meds, you get yourself to a doctor if you have a fever or undue sore throat or you cannot breathe, if something lasts for more than a few days and does not get better with over the counter meds, etc.

I would not have sex when I was sick and I doubt than anyone I would be with as well as those I have been with would ever expect me to do anything while being sick.

It is just an abdication of responsiblity for oneself in my opinion.

Other's mileage will vary.

Oh nonononono, get yourself to the doctor. Taking medication prescribed for someone else can be very dangerous. If you can't see a doctor, then take all the time you need to rest, and your owner will probably want you to do so. I'd think his priority in regards to you would be getting his slave better. I hope you feel better soon and I'm sorry you're suffering.

ETA: I strongly recommend you go see the doctor ASAP and tell him exactly what you took.

Status: offline 		As someone who puts off going to the doc until I I am practically sure of imminent death I can tell you there are many people who share my plight, distribution of cash. Something has to be extreme for me to want to toss 70-120 to visit a doctor that listens to your symtoms but barely much of anything else before he hits you with a prescription. I was not so conscious of this when I was employed among the traditional masses, who have a semblence of health insurance. But even my daughter, who is insured, will not go to the doctor unless she can't stand it because insurance tends to cover the big bills and not the costs under 500.

As for continuing to play while sick... done that.. but I have known my share of sadistic men who think my eyes make me look more fuckable when they are darkened in pain. Thankfully I have learned to spot those sort before I let myself become involved.

But to the OP.... get thee to a doctor. One thing you do not want to mess with is taking antibiotics on a short course. You will build up a tolerance that is not going to be a good thing when you really need them.
