Pleease, reading comprehension.

When someone writes "If you plead guilty in court, then you are found guilty. You are just hoping for a lighter sentence. " They dont mean YOU as an individual, they mean ANYONE that pleads guilty. SHEESH

My apologies.  I do have to admit I have trouble comprehending poor sentence structure.

How about we try this:

Pleading guilty just means he is hoping for a lighter sentence.

Therefore, there is no fallacy in My argument.

You are the one that said he would serve a few years and get out. do you approve of that? Get out to prey on more children? Rape them? Force them into sex acts?.

We would be a LOT better off if animals like that were taken out back after conviction and shot.

The fallacy I was referring to was what you just repeated here.

If you want to change the law then work to do so, if you want to see vigilante justice then you are weakening the very laws that are supposed to protect us.

In the future when I know you're reading, I'll go high protocol and write in the third person. How's that?

Unfortunately, English doesn't have a commonly used second person singular pronoun. German uses "man", meaning "one".

I will often use the word "one", as it avoids ambiguity. In hillwilliam's sentence quoted above, "one" or "a person" would be a better choice than "you". RML's revision is better, though, IMO.
