Unlike what some have assumed, I am not a Moderator.

I think there are some folks here who are very glad that I am not.

I'm very middle of the road about the Moderation.  I couldn't do the job Myself because, in My own admission, I would absolutely be biased.  I have a preference for those on the site who are involved in wiitwd and a lot less tolerance for the folks who haven't got any common sense.  This goes along very much with My style of Domination that is very obedience oriented.  I figure, people on the site were already given instructions on how to behave.  They really shouldn't have to be told twice. 

Folks can say what they will about past Moderation.  I didn't see it as unfair.  That includes the numerous love notes with a gold boarder that I received for Myself.

Quite frankly, this OP reminds Me of the concept of a submissive testing a Dominant (which VAA is, to the best of My knowledge) to see how far the Dominant can be pushed for the submissive to receive a punishment.  It's quite manipulative, and at this point, there is a clear no-win situation.  Either the Moderators will continue to allow the foot stomping and tantrums to continue, or they will Moderate so the OP can say "told ya so, Mods are biased".  If it were Me, I'd be more than willing to accept the outcome of the latter.  Unless I'm mistaken, the Mods really are members of the site just like anyone else.  They shouldn't be permitted to be attacked.

I don't believe in that sort of freedom on the forums I mod because the children online can't learn to play nice, they need to be ruled and live in constant fear of the ban hammer.

Your type comes just before actual threats and messages saying that you can beat up people in real life.

I voted for moderation.

The only reason I bothered with the poll at all, is I think that the moderators need to know that they have support. Moderating is, for the most part, a thankless job. It is my opinion that anyone volunteering their time to work on a forum must have a genuine care for the site to take on the task, else why would they bother? There's no pay, no perks, no real reason to do so other than a personal belief that one is doing their part to support something they believe in. Someone dedicated enough to overlook the slights, bitching, complaints and general lack of appreciation, and continue to do a thankless job, while doing their best to enforce rules to the best of their ability, has earned my vote.

Finally, I'm glad there are some boundaries in place preventing me from voicing my opinion about certain individuals. I'd very likely take entirely too much delight in doing so in the moment, but regret it later, so I'm thankful there's boundaries that help me avoid that entire unpleasant moral angst.
