Status: offline 		I have a question about something on collarme.. Is it normal to email people and offer  money for submission? I had this happen to me and I was wondering if this is a common thing. I cannot remember ever in my life being offered money for my "favors" and it kinda shocked me (although I guess it shouldn't, this is the internet after all...lol). Im not exactly new to every BDSM user site, and I cannot remember this ever happening. Has this happened to others here?

Perhaps they are offering tribute to submissives because they see submissives offering tribute to Dommes?

Oh yes. In fact, I had one 'Master' contact me on my alternate nick offering me $ to worship my feet.. then the same "Master" write on this nick offering me $ to worship HIS feet. lol

I just figured him for a bit confused and decided to keep my feet to myself and let him do whatever he wanted with his own feet. ;)

If you bother to contact them to inform them of their mis-use of the word Dominant and see if you might direct them towards kink education or a boot worship group you'll get anything from elaborate stories that obviously evolved from watching porn, weiner pics or my personal fave an elaboratly laid out set of leather that from the pic you can tell is so stiff it's never been used.

I'm not sure that Mercenary is the right term. You're basically trying to cover up the harsheness of the word Whoreing.

Although mercenary is technically a term you could use in the instance, its not exactly in the same mood.

But is being paid for nonsexual favors the same as whoring? By its own definition whoring is being paid for sexual contact, favors, or compromising ones principles.
 
I mean think about you can scene with someone and not have ANY sexual contact at all. So in this instance I don't think being paid to allow someone to worship your feet is whoring because frankly I do not consider it sexual contact nor a sexual favor.

anyway ,if i catch on to what you as a woman are saying
its that prostitution, or pandering insults never crossed your path,when in reality for a lot of womin,

James, I have been sexually harassed on a couple of ocassions, but never outright asked to do sexual things for money.... there is a big diff between hinting you could do better if you were more friendly to a boss then the boss saying,... " I will pay you X for doing Y" . I am a tall swedish looking blonde so of course I am used to a certain amount of cat calls and that sort of BS, but I am also 5 foot 10 and athletic... perhaps some of those types are afraid of me? (I hope so...lol)

He cant have a very high opinion of himself if he feels he needs to offer you money for you to submit to him it seams like a very strange thing for someone to do perhaps he has a very specific fetish in which he must pay to have his feet worshipped.

Status: offline 		I haven't seen that before, but I haven't been here long.  I'm discovering that there's a whole world of cash for sex out there that I didn't know about.  It's a common practice for my favorite local casino to send people who move (win or lose) thirty grand or more home with a house girl.  Then there's tons of porn sites that show the girl being paid off.  Prostitution busts are at an all time high.  Then there was that SA who worked on Capitol Hill in 2004 who was doing a Cabinet Deputy in exchange for access to his office and her rent each month.  Maybe that's how the swingers sites like adultfriendfinder work.  Half the people there could be folks looking to boost their business.  I really have no idea how big this is, but if I use my imagination, I could find it everywhere.  So maybe soon it'll be completely common place for people on the internet to make offers and requests of prostitution.  Mayeb it's becoming accepted.  I don't think it's something beyond cognition right now.
