A fire truck would be cute except for that pesky freedom of speech issue. We should not tolerate government, any government, interfering with our constitutional rights even through the use of false pretenses.

I don`t think the FFs had your abuse of the 1st Amendment or our GI`s in mind.

Perhaps we need a "2nd Amendment" solution in this case.

Freedom of expression and the like.Speaking is an act.Civil disobedience,protests/marches etc. all protected.

It only limits the government from infringing those things.

Says nothing about regular folks trying to do something.

That can violate your neighbor's right to "quiet enjoyment of homestead" (hard to enjoy it when the dumbass next door just started a brush fire and burned it down).

If the requirement of outdoor burning permits for outdoor burning was a violation of anyones "civil rights" then virtually every municipality in the country wouldnt require them.

C'mon sanity, you can do better than to try and claim a law that is on the books of about every town in the country is somehow a violation of your 'rights'.

I'm no lawyer, but I think I'm fairly familiar with English. And in my opinion, to say that speaking is an act in this context is facile. There remains a significant difference between talking (about something) and doing (it). But leaving that aside, I don't know where you're getting freedom of expression from. I only know where it says "freedom of speech". As for protest marches, wouldn't they be protected separately under "peaceably to assemble"?

Honestly, I think I will never understand the legal mind.

Yea, this preacher may get some Americans killed around the world including himself, but you know what, that's his right. There's no law that says you can't burn your own books that you purchased legally. He better damn well get a burn permit though if he's in the city limits.

If you want to blame someone for killing Americans, why don't you blame Obama, the democrats and RINO's like McCain for allowing Illegal aliens to kill more Americans than in the entire Iraq war.

What planet do you live on where people can't burn what they own outside of the city limits? The only thing that could prevent it is a state issued burn ban during drought conditions.
