Urban hip slang? rofl ... hardly!

Al Sharpton said, "he might be our color, but he isn't our kind," but I believe it was Harry Reid who pointed out that our President can have a negro dialect, when he wants one. Somewhere in the middle, I suppose.

The expression isnt just used by hip hop groups, or blacks, or midwesterners... i grew up hearing that expression from many of the service men on board ships.

He worked me like a dog.

He talked about me like i was a dog.

Both meant to mean being worked, or talked about, with no more thought to the person than one might give to a dog.

He's probably just upset that he doesn't have his own media network: Bush had Fox, after all.

I realize you aren't an American, Moon, or even on the same continent, but are you suggesting you are ignorant of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and, not to be left out, the leg-quivering fan club at MSNBC?

Oh, the mythical liberal media conspiracy, who were insisting that Bush wasn't an American citizen and blaming him for Clinton wrecking the economy during his first term in office, you mean?
Last time I checked, none of the other networks were getting apologies from the Democrats' head office when a politician they supposedly support said something one of their talking heads didn't like. Fox appears to be a lot more tightly wound around the Republicans than any of the other broadcasters are around anybody.

Yeah, I can see LBJ gettin his ebonics on:

For those of you who are incapable of reading, or intelligent thought (like dogshit)...

LBJ:  Now Everett, (over drinks with Everett Dirkson in the white house after hours) I wouldn't talk about a cur dog the way you talk about me down there in the congress).
Dirkson:  Well, you know Mr. President, I'm bound to tell the truth......
LBJ: Everett, now I am gonna need 3 Republican votes to get this here legislation passed...
Dirkson:  I have a list of 3 people who would look good and pass the background checks for FCC or ICC posts........

LBJ/Dirkson:  Lets have another drink......

All presidents complain about the way they are treated....hell, pretzel choker wouldn't even give interviews to several newspapers, cuz he knew they would tell it like it is.

THELADY -> RE: "They talk about me like a dog" (9/9/2010 5:45:46 AM)

in obama's second book he talks bout how he never fit in at school, in college, in the law office.......he's always whined, ........

no body likes me everybody hates me guess I'll go eat worms.......

its always someone elses fault, they would not talk about u like a dog because u fucked.up they would only do that to make u look bad.

maybe its from feeling abondened by his parents......

I remember al gore whining it was his election and crying about it.......maybe being the victim and whining is a democratic thing.....?

DomYngBlk -> RE: "They talk about me like a dog" (9/9/2010 5:51:16 AM)

Oh, I get it. Pointing out that there has been a coup d'etat perpetrated is considered whining......Sky blue in your world?

mnottertail -> RE: "They talk about me like a dog" (9/9/2010 5:52:47 AM)

yeah, the checkers speech, there was a real democratic whine..........there are so many others, McCain, Gingrich.......but think about it, you got time but doubtful the mental capacity.

Moonhead -> RE: "They talk about me like a dog" (9/9/2010 8:25:08 AM)

Actually, Ron, McCain accepted his defeat rather gracefully (certainly with a lot more class than he showed during most of his campaigning): it was everybody else in the Republican cult who was whining.
