For those of us into the whole objectification thing, that is the hot part of the fantasy... it isn't romantic....

Fair enough! I can be into it myself but it takes a particular mindset.

frazzle -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:42:50 PM)

What you're describing is consensual.

The Op's is not.

I hope this doesn't put too many people off. Especially women. I've always been curious about victimization. I don't know why though.

Anyways, is there a name for this? Is it a common fantasy?

In the end, perhaps, what the OP was wanting to know was was she alone in her fantasy... is she odd in her fantasy; is she truly alone?

And the answer is probably not although it may not manifest itself in that way.
I remember reading Fear of Flying by Erica Jong and as I recall, while it was not rape, it was a sexual encounter by a stranger on a train... the "zipless fuck": "As described by her - It is a sexual encounter between strangers that has the swift compression of a dream and is seemingly free of all remorse and guilt. It is absolutely pure, there is no power game and it is free of ulterior motives. It has also been described as the perfect one night stand.
The zipless fuck is the purest thing there is, rarer than the unicorn and I have never had one. - "Fear of Flying" "
(from The Urban Dictionary)

Many of us come here to post, instead of merely searching through the archives because we want connection, and especially on a forum such as this we want to know that in our fetishes we aren't all alone.

To the OP, instead of being off-put that people weren't understanding, you could try to understand that we were replying because we cared... and that there was ambiguity in your posts.

So, instead of picking apart where we were different in our points of view, we could try seeing where we were closer on the page.

The OP uses the term fantasy several times and states that she thinks about doing things to attract this attention, not that she does.

She then sought information as to if anyone had enjoyed being molested or raped. She did not say that people should enjoy such or that those who didn't were wrong.

It's her fantasy and people are ripping her a new one because they don't like it. So it's extreme. What else is new? We've had serious threads about deliberately breaking a sub/slave's bones.

juliaoceania -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:45:17 PM)

Well... never actually played with it, but had the fantasies when I was younger. Something changed in my head as I got older, like because I was willing to do all the nasty things I had fantasies about and make them a reality, or at least accept them as a possible reality... someone "forcing" me was not as hot in my head anymore...

rednicky.... I majorly used to get hot at the thought of nonconsent. There are some aspects of the roughness of it, and the heat of someone using me sexually that are still hot, but my fantasy life has changed over my life. Yours might too, if you give it a chance.. try to diversify.

Smiles

I think this is just a bit too raw for me after a meet 3 weeks ago.

I'll back out and say no more.

rednicky -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:47:44 PM)

Btw, don't get me wrong all. I do realize this is a sensitive topic. I even say so in the beginning. And I mention it might piss others off. Especially women. Perhaps its disnification that's run through me. Most women talk wait for that handsome prince to come on his white horse and save the day and then he and the princess ride into the sunset and live happily ever after. I was more interested in the 'other' aspect. The villain. He Gaston HAD to have Belle. Would go as far as to blackmail her into marriage by imprisoning her father. Not that I would actually want that but still. The desire! I'm not saying his way was perfect but I admired that aspect of him. I thought more about what would have happened if Belle had gone through with it rather than how Belle and what's his name live happily ever after. Jafar and Jasmine? Did you see what he went through to try and get her? Amazing. He didn't want to just be sultan. He wanted Jasmine to fall for him, too. All of that just for her. Bambi's little girlfriend being forced away by that brute who wanted THAT particular doe for himself. Sure there were plenty of does in the forest and that one was already spoken for. No, he wanted THAT one. I know that what these men in these movies had healthy attitudes about women but still, just like women like to dream about their white knight coming to save them, I like to dream about the lengths the villain would go through to get me. Maybe this is a littler better?

Or what Prince Humperdinck went through to get Buttercup to marry him, even though he only intended to kill her ASAP

rednicky -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:53:07 PM)

Oooo another good thing is Esmeralda. That Judge liked her soooo much. I wished I was her. Who cares about the soldier.

That's probably more clear. Just know that it's a fantasy. The sort of man who would actually do that, from the point of view of a woman who has also been stalked a bit, is not the sort of man you actually want to be with.

Still... fun to think about for a night of masturbation.

rednicky -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:58:20 PM)

...I don't masturbate to these thoughts...they just intrigue me. What I masturbate to...goes a little deeper. But still like to think about men like this.

AquaticSub -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 6:59:56 PM)

Think about it all you what. But know the reality. And the reality is that even the men who would do those things, who would go that far...

It's not the woman. It's not about you. They selected a woman they thought fit their ideal. I've been there and it wasn't about me. It was the suit of clothes he put on me.

It's a fun fantasy but the idea of it being about you is just that. Fantasy.

I think you might enjoy Ann Rice's Beauty books, if you have not already read them

rednicky -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 7:06:13 PM)

Anne Rice. I've heard that name before. Tell me about her work.

She seems to be a writer that you either hate or love. Off-topic but I, personally, can't stand her. At the same, she's written some books that are extremely popular in the BDSM/lifestyle/etc community so you may well love her. If Julia's read them and thinks you may enjoy them, I'd give them a shot if I were you.

juliaoceania -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 7:16:05 PM)

I haven't gotten around to reading them, but one of my best friends thought they were extremely erotic.

The thing I think rednicky would like about them is that the Prince is not so charming, is a bit dark, and at times cruel. He is also passionate and if I remember correctly he comes to love Beauty despite himself

AquaticSub -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 7:20:18 PM)

A lot of the kinky folk I know, particularly the females, are really into them. I stick to my plain old bodice rippers. I like it when the power dynamic isn't overtly stated but damn it he is going to have her.

*coughs* I think I need to go read privately now... before the mods fuss at me for going off-topic.

rednicky -> RE: Victim fetish? (9/11/2010 7:27:53 PM)

Yea, I'm not liking this woman. Her Dominant characters just seem cruel. At least the Villians promise happy lives to their captives in exchange of compliance. Gaston promised a big family, security, and non-stop fucking. Jafar, well he had become sultan anyway, yet he still asked the genie to make Jasmine fall for him. He must have had some sexy intentions. The judge from the hunchback was in serious lust over Esmerelda. He sniffed her hair and her garments. He held her close. He wanted her baaaad. Sure, he would ahve killed her if she refused but had she said yes...mmm. I think he was the most passionate of all bad guys. Anyways, all of these examples involve a somewhat happy ending if submission is involved. In Anne Rice's tales...there is no happy ending.
