ORIGINAL: rulemylife If you say so Butch, so much for that "heroes" of 9/11 crap huh? Especially when it starts to cost money. How about the workers that cleaned up the Alfred Murrah Building in Oklahoma? Do they have free lifetime healthcare? The issue on 4/19/1995 and 9/11/2001 are two entirely different stituations. One, was a buillding of less then a dozen floors. The other, was a collection of buildings with more material subjected to super heated tempatures, not to mention the gigantic dust cloud from the aftermath. How about the private oilmen that put out The Iraqi oil fields? Do they have free lifetime healthcare? Show me on a map of the United States of America where this state....Iraq....is located at? How about the emergency responders on the first Trade Center Attack? Do they have free lifetime healthcare? Did Clinton use 4/19/1995 as an excuse for everything, including starting a war he lied about? I think Bush (jr.) did that with 9/11 just 'alittle'. Stands to reason, Republicans would want to help out the only people that gave his administration credibility. How about all the responders throughout this nation, me included , that clean up chemical spills, tornado damage, forest fires…on and on. Do we have free lifetime healthcare? If you vote Democrat you will. If you vote Republican, no you wont. No my friend this is a political ploy pure and simple. I am all for those who have suffered injury and loss because of the 9/11 receiving medical care but only if a direct result of the attack. I’ll bet the City of New York has workman’s compensation and disability insurance that is helping as well as private donations for the families. Yeah, cus Republicans NEVER used 9/11 for political points, right? Where do you start and stop…who is worthy and who is not…Why not just take care of those injured in the attack and give our thanks to those that were not. Where do we start? We vote on it. Where do we stop? We vote on that too! I would like to think, all Americans are worthy of good health care and coverage. Unfortunately, conservatives, feel only certain people should get good quality health care....the upper 2% of Income Tax Payers.
