I'm not particularly offended.  As you pointed out, sarcasm sometimes doesn't translate well through text.  My comments were meant in a friendly way but also to underline the following:  labeling men, as a group, (or any other group) as "idiots" likely won't get a good response around here.  That's the social culture on this forum.  The people are quite friendly here, but large-scale generalizations won't fly well.

Although given that your 'opinion' was that most men are retards we were kind of polite.

Seriously, if your feelings were hurt by this then message boards probably aren't for you. This has been a very restrained thread.

What did I miss?  I always thought Domi was soft and fluffy underneath it all.  The surface was a bit hard to take at times though... until one got used to the fact he liked to stir the pot no matter how politically incorrect his approach.  What happened?  Did Domi get mod-spanked outta' here?

If you can't listen to someones opinion about things then don't bother replying to them.

I don't have a chip on my shoulder, the women who raised weren't abused, they were just treated badly. And I didn't say all men are idiots, just most of them, especially the ones around where I live.

Now to be honest if you want a pissing  match, I can go that route, all I wanted was to hear what people considered a submissive male to be, and you guys are turning this into a he-said-she-said thing.

Next time I ask a question I'll keep in mind that their are overly sensitive people that get easily offended when a person speaks how he feels about something.

But this isn't the best way to welcome someone into your community.

Dont feel offended. It's just that the points you raised are brought up very frequently here. Regulars have become quite jaded about such matters. A lot of subs say that they'll do what a woman wants them to do, but when it comes down to it, they don't. Or they can't. People aren't true to themselves; people lack the guts.

For my money, I think you have the basis of the right attitude and I think you'll go far. It's true that many so-called subs are into their own kink, and their own kink only. My own belief is that such subs are restricting themselves. They could have a lot more fun by expanding their range.

I think: be brave enough to follow what turns you on, no matter how deep and how radical it goes . . . and you won't go far wrong. But don't expect it always to be comfortable. ;-)

Granted, I agree with your principle.  I've told people on more than a few occasions this isn't AFF or Alt and they might want try one of those if they have a horn dog attitude.  That doesn't mean that I can't understand that there are good submissive men out there and I don't have to paint them all with the same brush.  Maybe instead of having a combative attitude, you might want to do some reading and realize there are some good ones on these boards and people here to learn from.  That is, if you think your feelings can recover.

You see, Kinkhulhu?
