Will you vote?

I don't see any point to it.  If I do fine- if I dont fine.   My letters to congress stopped.  We have no voice.

We are owned by big corporations.

The best I can figure is to not fund the bad stuff.   You know- vote with your $.  If you do not like the ABC widget co.  Dont shop there.

Since generally the far right is the only group you can count on to show up at the poll the election should go their way.

I expect a lot of bitching but a low turn out.

I've voted in every election, including the special elections. Local, state and federal! Its important to vote, even if your candiate doesn't have a prayer of winning. Because if you dont, then you have ZERO grounds to complain about anything until the next election.

Only if we allow them to! We are the ones that create laws THEY have to abide to. When enough Americans get tired of the sh*t, corporations dish out, they typically push bills through Congress. The financial reform bill that just went through is an example of it, In one manner, it prevents companies from doing the same tactics Goldman Sachs did earlier this year. The Health Care Bill passed even earlier, has many benefits that force companies to comply with American's wishs. The Source!

Traditionally, pahunkboy, Republicans have been for deregulation, and Democrats for more regulation. So far, that tradition has not changed as we go in to this next election.

But do go and vote. Its not just your right and privilage; its your duty as an American citizen! Ask those around you, if they are voting. If they need help getting to the polling location, offer to help.

And as I said several weeks ago, Ive been dollar cost averaging in. And why do you think September was so good? Because the end of the stranglehold the Dems have had on Congress is almost over and the wicked witch of the West will soon be meelllllttttttiinnnnnng.

PaHunk, I got an e-mail from the Toomey campaign in Penn. today and they said they were trying to raise $30,000 by midnight lastnight but that their efforts exceeded everyone's expectations when they raised $74,900!
And they're leading Sestak by a wide margin, he's going to be steamrollered on Nov 2nd. So make sure you get out and vote!
This election will be a repudiation of Obama's policies.
It's funny, 33 days before the election and we don't hear (any) of the Democratic candidates talking about "Amnesty" for illegal aliens! I wonder why that is?
Not a peep! Don't you think they'd want to talk to the Voters about something like that?

The biggest reason you haven't heard about it from dems is because that has traditionally been a Republican effort.

You also think they would be proudly promoting their vote for O-care and support of Crap and Tax. The silence is deafening.

Your comment might have made sense except that there is no GOP candidate that cannot win, including whoever you think the "O'Donnells in the upcoming election"might be, and if you realized that the numbers are so overwhelmingly in favor of the GOP that the more radical TP candidates could lose and control still transfer.

Republican nominee Pat Toomey is leading Rep. Joe Sestak, the Democrat's nominee, 45 percent to 42 percent among likely voters in the Keystone State's race for Senate, according to a Susquehanna Polling and Research survey conducted for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Toomey's three-point lead falls within the margin of error.

A real steamroller event!

You know what Popeye, you never hear the democrats telling voters how good the health care bill is either. Since they voted for it, you think they would be bragging agout it. Instead, not a peep..
