But if their target is a woman, moreover a FemDom, most likely a Lady, should they not make allowances for the fact that Ladies don't usually like to have naked facts jumped at them (let alone with such an impolite connotation as "mooning")? I always think a sub should be somewhat more polite, more considerate than your average lout. I found some of the first explanations interesting that said something along the lines of "displaying the goods on offer", but again, I simply don't get it. I am looking for a sub or slave, not for a spankable or fuckable ass with some sorry body attached to it.

Even if they ARE eye candy kinds of guys.. I am not likely to respond to them positively if ALLL they have to offer pic wise is their ass. Yeah, I will entertain myself with the potential of that "blank canvas", but that entertainment will just be in my mind. Can it TRULY be that so many men have no social skills whatsoever? REALLY? I have utterly run out of compassion for the socially inept who will do NOTHING to help themselves, and expect that simply being on the internet and waving their photos will get the attention of a woman who will actually meet their incredibly exacting standards. I also find it equally disgusting when a guy posts a profile with his sub/slave or some random photo he found of some woman showing shots suitable for a gynecological discussion. I mean, what possible interest would I or other women have in a man with no photo of his own, or not even in said photos, who shows beaver shots? Ugh.

I did have a butt-and-back shot as my avatar and it's still in my profile. You're right - part of the reason I used it was to hint at submission. I hoped that it would have the effect on a woman of making her think, 'Yes, I want to bite/scratch/whip that'. My pic was generally received well. Pictures of naked male flesh can 'work' in the way a man wants them to work - but they have to be done in a restrained way - and kind of 'artistically'. Hints, not 'in your face'. The point is not to show detail so much as suggest a mood. And then . . . the next, and probably more important, task is to show that you have a personality to go with the picture. Women don't seem to want, or are easily able, to 'invent' a personality to go with the image of a man, the way men (including me) can with pictures of women.
