Status: offline 		Pet peeve of Mine: I always end the conversation, the date, the activity, when I am ready. If a potential sub has to beg off for some particular reason, has to go pick up kids or relieve a sitter, for example, he had better 'beg' off and not 'inform Me' that he has to go.

If for some reason there's no chemistry, and he's feeling the need to rush off, he should still practice consummate protocol because he never knows when he might be referred to someone of My acquaintance as a potential partner.

If he ends the date, or even if a sub ends a conversation without asking Me politely whether he can 'go' for now, for ANY reason, I get very perturbed.

Even when there is a long silence over the phone or in a one on one encounter, I may very well be testing the water simply to see whether he'll step on My toes by making a quick exit or whether he'll wait, patiently, for Me to give the cue to go.

For whatever that's worth.

Yes, but I think that it's important that you show you can respect her as a woman, as well as a Woman, Sophisticate.  Otherwise, she may well come away from the meeting thinking that you're incapable of controlling your fantasies about how you'd like women to be, rather than how they actually are.

Status: offline 		Being dominant, for me, means that I can take the wheel any time I want, not that I have to drive the car the whole bloody time. I don't care who ends the first date. Why would I work myself up over something so petty?

Status: offline 		but you did ask though. in my opinion it's always them. the way i've been lightly "trained" i'd feel guilty saying i have to end the date now but it depends on the personalities like someone mentioned before.
