I have mentioned this before in other places:
June 15th 2003 was Father's day and I had traveled to see mine. After we had all gone to bed, my step-mom woke me up to tell me my dad needed me.
He was in cardiac arrest and died despite CPR done by me and then continued attempts by ambulance crew and the hospital.
That is not the weird part... yet.
11 days later, the day after I returned to work, my mother died.... also suddenly, also of a heart attack.
This time I learned about it from someone from work as I had spent the night at a friend's. I had called into work to see if they needed anything, and was told then.
My parents had been divorced for over 30 years.
