We've participated in a couple of Members-only dungeons and play groups, and, quite frankly, it really depends on the quality of the group whether or not we continue to participate. There are a couple of groups that we are a part of, even though we don't have as much time to be as active as we would like, and I, for one, will probably continue to be active in those groups. On the other hand, there are a couple of members-only dungeons we've participated in that were so poorly managed and, frankly, so blatantly dangerous and ethically questionable that I would never set foot there again, nor would I ever allow one of our servants to attend with anyone who intended to go there, even if it were FREE! I'm nowhere near your area, but I would strongly suggest that, if you're serious about this, you contact some of the groups in other areas who have done this successfully and see what they've done -right-, and to get a "heads-up" on some of the potential problem areas (every dungeon/playspace -- especially those that are open to multiple members-- has some!) to help you get off on the right foot.
