Now I gave several options  and you picked on racist. I can see why you might I dont think everyone is racist if they disagree with him. If I think you are a racist, I will call you one. I never have and never will, but on that note are you denying much of the hatred IS racist?? seriously?

I meant to get back to this sooner, Lucy, but life happens while we are making other plans.

Yes. I am going to deny that "much" of the anger and opposition comes from a root of racism. If unemployment was in a steady trend of decline, I think we would be looking at a very different sort of situation on Nov. 2. Does race play for a role for people who care about race. Of course. Do racists like him? I guess that depends on which flavor of racist we are talking about.

In fact, if we want to talk about responses growing from race-based attitudes, why not ask how many of those expressing "strong support" in the polls are cutting him slack because he is black?

There you go Richie.

I knew you would come through.

Well, Lucy, you are right.  It was not near as hysterical as the death threats phoned into to the property owners of the bill board and others.

The bill board has now been taken down.

Once again Freedom of Speech has been suppressed because of threats and fear of violence from those on the left.

Maybe we can now have an "Everybody draw a caricature of Obama Day!"

You have a link to a legitimate news source confirming this?   If not you might want to rethink the "supression of freedom of speech" horse shit.  Legitimate news source BTW way means one not owned by Rupert Murdoch, or the slime filled news-max site ok?

There are a few legit news sources for the removal and "death threats". My question is, as it has been with all these billboards... why isnt anyone prosecuted? Its not like the police cant figure out where these calls came from.

http://www.gjsentinel.com/news/articles/antiobama_billboard_taken_down

That would be from the local paper in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Does that work for you?

http://www.nbc11news.com/localnews/headlines/Billboard_depicting_Obama_as_terrorist_coming_down_105062799.html

And that is the update that I read earlier.  I have no idea who owns nbc 11 news.

I read both links, the word "DEATH" appears in NEITHER ONE preceding the word threat. I do admit the second link said VIOLENT, but a violent threat does not necessarily constitute a death threat.

Example:

Where I used to live, a neighbor had a dog they used to let roam free to do its "business" and invariably it did its "business" in my back yard.   One day I informed the owners of said pooch, that if I caught the little fucker crapping in my yard again they were going to find the severed head of said pooch stuck to a spike in their back yard.  Now this was a violent threat, not a "death" threat.

Needless to say the local constabulary had to have a few words with me about "terroristic threats", but the responding officer was trying not to laugh as he explained my wrong doing to me, because he had a very similar problem.

Threateningly,

P.S. The fucking dog was tethered in their back yard from that moment on for his "business" appointments.

Suppression of free speech my arse. he spoke free  and the public responded freee. The government didnt, the police didnt, , vandals didnt.
You are so fired up about personal responsibility,  when you express hate you have to live with the consequences
Death threats are not ok, from any side, but the people responded ...how is free speeech being impinged?
hes making a fortune out of this, maybe he is talented, I dont care to see his other work
that is my right, to dislike, complain and be angry. just like you
but suppression of free speech it AINT
