Are you of the opinion that O'Donnell is "mainstream"?

Well let's see here Twisty, on the one hand you have a Marxist who'd be Obama's henchman, on the other a woman who dabbled in "witchcraft" in her teens.
Who do you think would do the most damage?
The insane bitch, without a doubt.

Not that Popeye the far-righter man would know what Marxism is.

"witchcraft in her teens" is just the tip of the iceberg with this one.Again I am left wondering about your oft told claim of non partisanship...seems you are much more tolerant of candidates from the right than you are of those on the left.
O'Donnell's list of wacky stances, her barely passing acquaintance with the truth where her own personal history is concerned....her highly questionable financial foibles....all of these you are willing to sweep under the rug?
You might not be a registered Republican Pops.....but you sure do dance to their funky tune .

Here we go again, evade the question.
Who do you think would do the most damage to the people of Delaware and the country, a marxist or a woman who dabbled in witchcraft?
Question 2. How much could one expect to pay for a good polo pony in Delaware?
(Mike, you turn not answering questions into an art form.)
Bullshit Pops....why should I answer a question that is as loaded as that one.Shall I ,in the answering, just concede your point that the man is a "marxist"(he is not) But to get to the root of your question.....nothing,in my view, could be more dangerous than electing nut jobs like O'Donnell or Angle(another of your favorites) or sending Paladino to Albany.
We need serious people in Washington(and as Gov's) not wack jobs who stoke the fervor of the masses with glib, though shallow, bumper sticker slogans.
I hope that answers your question.....by the way Pops just when did you stop beating your wife?

Mike, I don't have a wife.

I tend to agree with Bill Maher's assertion that Christine O'Donnell is nowhere near as bad as Palin is. While they both may have witchcraft experiences in their past and both share the same view that legislation within our purposely-built secular government should instead be driven from the pulpit, Palin has an abusive mean streak in her that O'Donnell does not have.

President Obama and Mr. Coons have lot in common: both have law degree, community activist background, both are Marxists. I hope coons plays basketball; they will have good times together dreaming for better times while acting in behalf of big corporate donors.

Yes but Coons grew up in a wealthy environment and he belongs to a club that Obama can never belong to. "The Beautiful People Club."
Coons has,....."Trust Funds" and probably only had to clean out the stables if he was "naughty" growing up and gave the stablehand the afternoon off.
Coons and John "French" Kerry would be big buddies right from the start! Talking about their "alma maters", yachts, polo ponies, "summering" on "the island" (Martha's Vinyard) "Nurse fuzzy wuzzy owns eight houuuuu-ses." "We don't go to London anymore, it's become sooooo gouche." "Ouuh, silly boy! Ha, Ha, Ha!"
Oh yeah, with people like that in office guess what's going to happen to your money?
Funny, when O'Donnell mentioned "trust funds" "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" (No talking about "trust funds" if a Democrat has one!)
"Yeah, we're Marxists but w're not THAT fuckin' Marxist!" "We do love trust funds and money and wealth and Mercedes Benz's, and polo ponies we just don't want YOU to like or have all that stuff!"
Too funny! The Demos are running Thurston Howell the Third for Senate with a nasty dose of Marxism!
I thought that Coons was the type of person that they were "against?" lol
Oh yeah, I can just see people in the differant "hoods" in Delaware voting for Mr Trust Fund!
"Oh Lov-eee! Another Brandy Alexander for my good friend Biff Coons!"

Neither are Marxists.

The title of Coon's paper was meant to be satire.

But honestly, after listening to this nonsense for two years I'm really getting sick of it.

If you want to attack Obama or any Democrat, fine.  Attack them on the issues and let's have an intelligent debate.

But this Marxist, socialist horseshit has gone beyond old.

Obama the Marxist?

Hell, he's not even a true liberal.

True Liberals are not connected at the hip with big business as Bush was, and as Obama is.

I hadn`t heard about the bearded marxist thing, well I heard the term and didn`t know where it was from or about who.

The debate was on in the living room when I was in to lay some logs into the stove, so I was half listening when that crazy started in with the marxists stuff.

"He`s a marxist" and loves marx etc. I thought,WTF would say such silly and stupid things? It just makes you look crazy and mean, like a Westboro Baptist Church member.

Then when that fell flat, she says one of his professors was a marxist, blah blah blah.

The scariest part of these fundie-cons like Sarah,Christine or Angle is they really believe this stuff.

Also, when it was her turn to respond or speak,if she had to answer about a topic she didn`t have a prepared ,pat reply for,she sounded like that poor beauty queen who flubbed her Q&A portion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKPCs6dSsYM

Train wreck!!!

Whew, glad no one knew that I took an urban geography class (pretty interesting stuff as it turned out) where the prof brought in a * gasp! * Marxist for one hour so we would hear a different view of our economic system.

Now, no doubt some of the conservatives and independents like pops will rise up and froth at the mouth like werewolves about the travesty of our politically incorrect dens of iniquity masquerading as universities and corrupting the youth of America!!  Typical Ivy League Swine!!

Yep, one hour of a total of 30 classroom hours.  In 1978. Hardly a politically correct era (women engineers were still told they were there for their "Mrs." degree.)  At a small branch of the University of California system.

So when I hear how some dude who had a Marxist prof is practically Satan, I just give a snort.  And go off to watch Stormchasers for my geek fix.
