Status: offline 		Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly happy in my current existance as a single female. But, it wouldn't hurt for there to be (at least) one known (to me, anyway) Master/Dom around here.

The munches are few here, and the BDSM community could be tighter. ...so, where are you guys? Or am I just becoming impatient?

Status: offline 		patience young skywalker. I'm sure you will find what you're looking for, but don't let your impatience make you jump into something with someone too fast. Some people here suggest that it can take years to find someone, but I'm more of an optimist. But while you are looking make some friends and enjoy yourself. Good luck in your search.

Without wishing to advertise a "competitor" site - but FetLife may be a better way to get into the NC scene (munches, gatherings, etc) than here.

That said - if you're looking for a friendly Dom chap to correspond with, you could do worse than chatting to a few of the regs here.

If you're looking to get your kink on, you'll have no problem getting offers... your challenge will be filtering out the crazies, incompatibles and "not quite for yous" from the deluge of mail that you get!

Munches in North Carolina are not "few".  I've been to kink events in NC and My experience does not match yours.  Have you thought about visiting some other locations within the state?  Believe Me.  Some of the kinky folks in that state are worth the trip.

I'd love  to know who had the idea in the first place that subs don't or shouldn't message doms on here. I have a list of people to headbutt in the community and one more wouldn't hurt.* I for one had better luck with subs who messaged me than I ever did the other way around.

Seriously, this is good advice. Just look at the profiles and MESSAGE THEM.


*Okay, it would hurt them, but I expect my head will be rather numb by the end. It's a long list.

There are a few groups in the NC area some are age restricted over 21 others are 18-35. I spend up to three nights a month going to regular munches and then 2-3 nights a month at socials. As someone else suggested Fetlife does have regularly posted events and a more active database than here. Goodluck in your pursuit.

Suggest you check out the "CPI/TheMark in Nashville" group on Fetlife. The Mark is a lifestyle weekend evening club in Nashville. A wonderful first class bunch of people you'd ever want to meet. Nashville is not too far from NC for a weekend getaway.
