In general I couldn't give a monkeys about how most folks see me, I don't need their validation nor approval. The only time it irritates me is when it is mearly stemming from a miscommunication or the like, then I will usualy attempt to explain at least the once, if they won't listen, well their problem not mine.

No, because first thing in the morning and last thing at night, I am the one who has
to live with My own choices, the things done and the things not done.  Nobody else
can make those choices for Me.  There are a few select Loved Ones in My life
whose opinions DO matter, they know who they are and that we share mutual love
and trust.

In the outside world, I frequently intimidate the Hell out of people.  Which My sadistic
side finds endlessly amusing.  But to quote Guns and Roses, "Use Your Illusion"!
If a "normal" thinks I am a ball-busting-man-eating-psycho-sex-freak-Domme-bitch;
well, then they are not going to start a fight or try to pull one over on Me, now are
they?

And by the way, My equipment bag is a rifle case.  Most folks are not likely to pick
one of those up and shake it around, kick or drop it, or try to open it.

Thank you very much, MistressDREAD.  (blushing)
Necessity is the Mother of Invention.  I went to a sporting goods
store looking for an equipment bag.  The fishing pole cases were
too thin for the floggers and such, the soft rifle cases were the
right size and shape and cost about $30.00.

..and the way people expect you are, does it never bother you? That people think you're one way (not in a bad way), but then you're exactly the other way (not in a bad way either though) but you just can't make them realize

Nah not one bit. i'm pretty used to it.  i'm viewed in a variety of ways, by tons of different ppl.  Some, like a group will even actually agree i think.  Usully i am viewed wrong or one dimensional i suppose.  Plus at times i present a one dimensional view instead of the whole picture.  Even though when i dont - it still happens.  Very rarely does anyone know me.  Generally they just know a side of me and tend to think that is "me"  eh well who cares, it works to my advantage.

the only i've ever felt comfortable showing all sides of me is to Himself.  what a relief, freedom to be me. random me.  Not that i'm not me, as i've friends i am me too.. but still they dont know all sides.  Like they've never seen me cry and would prolly be shocked to hear i do or am.
