Forget the obstructionist tactics of the last two years.

After Jan. 20, enter two years of absolute gridlock.

What Americans love best. Nothing.

Would that we had it starting Jan. 2001.

We have been borrowing to much for 30 + years. It has to end and end soon.

OK. Would that it had happened Jan. 20, 1981.

There's a reason Bush and Dole ridiculed Reagan in the primary, "Reagonomics" and "Voodoo Economics."

Money isn't magic. Unfortunately, Republicans have followed his lead ever since, borrowing and borrowing and borrowing.

Not to mention reversing the reductions of the Clinton years to both create new long term structural deficits and borrow even more.

These are the people returning to Congress.

More magic money.

Would that it starts right now, or at least with the new congress.

Now is practical, yesterday is unrealistic.

Yep. No Scooters for the fat teabaggers reimbursed by Medicare. They can re-learn how to walk.

Say, Mike, I've been looking for someone willing to make the bet at $50 a seat over 218. How confidant are you REALLY feeling about the Democrats holding the House majority?
I'm not the one posting predictions ....I'm quite happy to watch it all play out on election night.I know a hell of a lot about the NFL....watch the injury reports, know the matchups.....but I'm still not silly enough to think I know which way the ball will bounce.
All of that aside ...as a concerned citizen I figure I already have enough riding on this election...I would say we all do.

And how is it that Nancy Pelosi can use U.S. Air Force jets for her travel?
Well, she won't be doing that for much longer.

Gee, I don't know Popeye.

Do you think it might have something to do with Bush putting in a requirement that the Speaker of the House travels on military aircraft for security reasons after 9/11?
