Displays constitutional ignorance and there is no thread about it?

"Coons said private and parochial schools are free to teach creationism but that "religious doctrine doesn't belong in our public schools."

"Where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state?" O'Donnell asked him.

When Coons responded that the First Amendment bars Congress from making laws respecting the establishment of religion, O'Donnell asked: "You're telling me that's in the First Amendment?"

Yeah, it feels like cripple picking and yes the Democrats have been less than stunning, but still, THIS is anyones idea of a statesman?

It's only a matter of time until the "Independents" rush to Odonnel's aid.

They can pick the source they like. It is everywhere.

If only she were a witch, she could make it all go away.

That is the problem with voting for anyone who isn't an incumbent.

If you throw the bums out, you have to be careful with who you throw in.

The sad thing is she seems like a really nice person...unlike her mentor Mama Grizzley I could actually see myself not hating Christine.

That being said she's totally unqualified to hold public office, though she might have a future as a conservative community activist/blogger/whatever.

Don't worry, after she loses Fox News will give her a talk show.

We know.

Believe me, we know.

You have a thing for crazy Republican women.

Now I can see O'Donnell, maybe even Palin, but if you start saying you would do Sharron Angle or Jan Brewer we are going to have to find you some help.

"Coons said private and parochial schools are free to teach creationism but that "religious doctrine doesn't belong in our public schools."

That means you can teach any damn thing you want in PRIVATE just like people can masterbate in private and that means that you can not teach masterbation in PUBLIC neither can you masterbate in public.

"Where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state?" O'Donnell asked him.

When Coons responded that the First Amendment bars Congress from making laws respecting the establishment of religion, O'Donnell asked: "You're telling me that's in the First Amendment?"

When the individual has the right to religion the STATE has no grant of authority to ESTABLISH one for him.

Yeah, it feels like cripple picking and yes the Democrats have been less than stunning, but still, THIS is anyones idea of a statesman?
