I received a message tonight from a "Master" not giving a name that was as follows :

well you guys always say that
and guess what you are all scared little girls who are not real lifestyle people

Is this the way I should be receiving messages?
This really upset me as I had never received any message from or sent a message to this person before....I know my profile doesnt say alot mostly because I am still learning as my name shows...but didnt think that anything in it would cause such an email...So for my learning and knowledge is this something I should expect?

Hun, hit delete, if it seems creepy to you just do it, and that is a little creepy (actually a lot creepy). There are weirdos all over the internet, hit delete and move on...

actually I did then received an even stranger message about all the people in the state I currently live in being fakes...I did the stupid thing and replied to that one...I know big duh

Hun, he's a troll looking for anyone who is willing to buy into his nonsense. I've gotten a lot of emails from so-called "Doms" and I don't even waste time on replying. Just like IronBear said, "delete and block lass. Delete and block". It's a beautiful thing.

For your learning =) this is something you should expect, and more ... there are lots of *ssholes and creeps out there ... those who just cannot control themselves, like this guy. I mean, he only did it so he can feel better about his puny little self hahaha. Yes, there are people who have the mindset that their way is the only way and anything else ... well, shame shame shame on you for not fitting into their narrow-minded viewpoint <snickers>

No, a *real* master would not use shame ... unless shame was specifically negotiated beforehand. Anybody who proclaims that their way is better than all others and uses put-downs as a way to feel better about themselves is, I have found, suffering from low self-esteem ... heheheh and usually with good reason.

Yes, delete and block is the best way to handle these creeps ... although sometimes a figurative face-slapping beforehand can be good [<grins> or bringing the subject up here in forums] before the D&B ....... something like "Thank you for taking the time to write me. Wow, do you have an overinflated ego! The only things I am afraid of are close-minded people who think the only reality is their own reality, abusive people with low self-esteem who use put-downs to feel better about their pathetic existence, and those that overgeneralize .. as this shows that they have little creativity.

yup

"true" = they behave the way I want them to.

It's a control phrase hooked to esteem images.

A manipulative ploy to attempt to control others-and really not a very good one. Lacking in both subtlety and thought-depending entirely on a knee jerk reaction from the recipient it is directed at.

When I see it used, it tells me a person is going to be bothersome-for they are full of preconcieved notions-rigid in mindset.

Take that box, and shove it in the dumpster.

Don't let it bother you hun. He's obviously got a bug up his ass and has probably been turned down by more women than he can count so he decided he'd take it out on the next subbie he saw that he knew he couldn't have. We hear that a lot here, so obviously there are a lot of jerks here. However, how can you seperate the good from the bad if you don't communicate? That's the dilemna. If you run across A-holes just block them, in the mean time don't think everyone is an Arse, because some of us are good guys.

thank ya'll for your advice...after the kinda rude message I sent back last night I did receive an appology and an excuse of sorts but I had a really bad day yesterday and it just kinda topped it off... especially with the "Dom" that is stalking me on here and on yahoo... making different names and profiles and messaging me I guess I just got to thinking that maybe that was how it was going to be and opened my big mouth sorry ya'll

Just as in the Vanilla world there are masses of toads cleverly disguised as frogs. Yes, your going to get a lot of smooch offers from the toads, hopefully you wont getting any warts from them, and then they will say something stupid and prove they are toads. Then you get to try and look real hard at the “true frogs”, but after so much money spent on wart removal you will be real skeptical. Eventually you will weed out the toads from the frogs and start smooching with them. Of course one of those smoochy frogs will say the right stuff and BLAM he will be a prince. No more toads, no more warts, no more frogs, no more of me getting to tell you more silly stuff like this.
