It seems to me, that in any first contact, especially if it be a Dom to a sub/slave or what have you, that you should keep it general. That the people in volved should learn about each others. I will admit that is my first time posting, but no one should be rude or toady in email to anyone, no matter their role. You should say something nice, and you should also find out a little about the person your intereted in. This should all be done in a polite causaul manner.

From my perspective, being a Dom, I think that it is our job to care for the slave/sub, to put in time to get to know their likes and dislikes, where they been and where they want to go. To show them we care about them as a person, and not just paying lip server to them. I think only after we have shown them that we are trustwothy can we then train them, in a nuturing caring way, in how to please us the Doms, i.e. our Likes and Dislikes, and then be rewarded themselves.

People need to be honest with each other and not just say :

well you guys always say that
and guess what you are all scared little girls who are not real lifestyle people

This "so called Dom" obioulously never took the time to learn how to be a careing humanbeing nor what what it means to be a Master/Dom, or learned the meaning of Manhood, and needs to be educated, but untill that time, it is best to Block and Delate Trash such as this.

I am sorry livinandlearnin that this happened to you, and I hope that the next Dom that takes in interest in you or whom you take an interest in, is a more postive experience.

I am wondering if you really didn't know the answer to your own question?

My suspicion comes from the very title of your post... "real"...

What was your real motivation in creating a thread about a non-issue?

Were you really upset? Why? Does your block function not work in your mail folder? Are you worried he is a threat to your person? Or were you just annoyed that someone spoke to you in a fashion you didn't take a liking to? If that is the case... did you then feel the need to post his message to you here in an effort to...embarrass/shame him?

I just don't get it.

How do you feel a "real" Master is required to message you, if at all?

I understand you are new, and learning.. but I really don't think this is a question you needed others to supply answers to... I am thinking maybe there are others which you will ask at some point with more relevance.

I am not saying you do not have a right to your own personal standards of correspondence here.. I just don't understand what information you are seeking to glean by posting this snippet here and asking if it makes him a real Master or not, again, there are mail filters to block people who start to bug...

Just my two cents...

Another Loki story

Once upon a time there was a boy… we will call him ShadyAssassinDude … and he stumbled into a majikal world called Collarme. He was met with great hostility because of his ignorant ways, and more so when it was discovered ignorance was the cause, but blind stupidity. His posts were rude and crude and he quickly became the fantasy whip boy of many Dom/me, and sub/slave alike. After 16 days he fell into the treacherous thread of… we will call him/er TsSpider… TsSpinder wooed and courted ShadyAssassinDude and lured the boy into his/er trap and persuaded the young and rash boy into role reversal. Eager for a pinkshot and weary from years of HNG, the young lad acquiesced to the request. TsSpider has sprung his/er trap and as ShadyAssassinDude was bound over the wheel, in his/er most Domly fashion, TsSpider said; “I am the Domme and now you’re limits mean nothing!” With ample lube in hand the limits were thrown to the wind…

And they lived happily ever after.

You will find, livin, that there are some who frequent these boards who wish to advertise themselves as D's/M's - they are not, ignore those who do not treat you with respect, especially when you are in training. Good D'/M's will see this and train you accordingly!

If you do get mail like that do not judge us all with the same brush, we are not.

This really upset me as I had never received any message from or sent a message to this person before....I know my profile doesnt say alot mostly because I am still learning as my name shows...but didnt think that anything in it would cause such an email...So for my learning and knowledge is this something I should expect?

Dear Livinandlearnin, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I'm sorry however, I am of a thought that Masters and Mistresses, are to be the shining examples of good manners, kindness, positive nature and compassionate.

Controllers, not to be confused with Dominants, use fear, negativities, humiliation, shame and low self esteem as to make themselves "bigger."

To me the words are a "bait." It is no different than a predator offering a kid a challenge to prove they're a good kid--abandoning warnings of safety their parents taught them, walking off with a stranger.

The person is using the bait of you being "scared" -- so, emotions take over as to put it into his face to prove a point, when you do--engage in the banter; he has won. He has you focused on him--not on your journey.
