NO...YOU are the one that doesn't know what he is talking about.  Rush Limbaugh saying that he wants the President to fail is a feeling shared by many who do not want to live in a socialist America.  And people wanting their president to fail is nothing knew.  People said it about Truman all the time.

There are hundreds of quoted fro the Founders supporting my contention that they recognized the need for an armed populace so that the citizenry could overthrow any government that became oppressive.
And you know it. You're just being petty.
No,he isn't...in fact your statement ,as far as it goes supports his.....the point we're the two of you diverge is in the definition of oppressive.I for one think jlf1961 gave as good a definition as possible....one that the Fathers themselves would have agreed with.
Yours seems to come down to sour grapes.

Fortunately I am not required to seek your blessings, nor your leave to post what I wish.....with that in mind I feel no compulsion to overreact to your sentiments.[:)]

With this you begin to debate what was on their minds. (quotes ?) Creating a constitution as in creating law once codified, no longer contains any needed mechanism or requires society to consult the 'opinions' or thoughts (quotes) of those who codified. The only exception being whetther a given law violates sections of the const. and is subject to a federal court challenge and only from those who have standing to bring a suit.

MrR.,

Cucky is pretty firm in his outlook.   Crazy as it sounds.  Bang head on wall.  Same thing.

There is nothing to respond to, Mikey-boy, you don't "say" anything.  Defend liberalism.  I asked you about the qualities of conservatism and to criticize them and you couldn't.  So get lost....you say nothing.

Sorry locked, but I'm here till I decide to leave....if that is a thorn in your side you will need to deal with it.

lockedaway -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/22/2010 5:34:57 PM)

I don't give a fuck whether you are here or not.  Be smart in your posts and defend your decisions and smartly....key word....criticize the ones you don't agree with.  Don't call names that have no foundation.  How's that?  Pretty fucking simple.

slvemike4u -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/22/2010 5:38:46 PM)

I will post the way I choose....allways aware of protecting my own reputation and my good standing with the powers that be....your opinion/advice does not enter the equation.

I allow no equivocation from the right now when we are at war that was cited to call the left a bunch of traitors. We are still at war and seeking the CIC's failure is tatamount to treason just as the right tried to denigrate the left...because we were 'at war' that they conveniently started.

As for socialist, I must inform you and many on the boards, do not know the meaning of socialism. For the real McCoy I think you should consult wall street and corporate America about their love for socialism at least as reflected in their bailout and bonuses. Yes, I hit those whores every chance I get when I read that word but the US is nothing like and has never been anything like a socialist country and if you wish to suffer from the demagogues...that's your problem as there is no pill for that yet.

I take my own advice, toots.  I can smartly criticize your bullshit liberal ideas all day.

slvemike4u -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/22/2010 5:46:11 PM)

All available evidence suggests otherwise .

Yea, from his posts which read almost as if manufactured, I am thinking he's pretty much as they say...around the bend. Imagine the euphoria...when he finally stops, like Johnny finally managed ?

Lucylastic -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/22/2010 5:49:02 PM)

the last two pages or more show that you cannot do it without resorting to swearing, insulting or losing your temper... Ive had professionals insult me and you are not even a candidate for junior league. unless you enjoy the humiliation, either way, I dont give a damn enough to waste more time on you.
Oh and just to make things clear, Im way worse than a liberal.
suck it up sugar

truckinslave -> RE: Is this a threat? sedition? or just posturing? (10/22/2010 5:49:02 PM)

Oh please jlf.
I maintain that the rights that were to have been immune regardless of who elected whom have been severely eroded and are threatened with extinction. The Constitution is a bulwark against the tyranny of the majority.
Once again: as you well know.
We have real differences we can discuss, you know. No need to invent them.

The premise is chilling, vote us in(the teahadists)or we`ll use violence.
