I dont believe it is a different thread. We are discussing the ignorance of public health problems. This is definitely a public health problem.

Vaccines are certainly fair game. and in a previous comment, I indicated that ignorance can be disease of the left as well.  The difference is in the treat to our culture is greater on the right simply because of the power of the ignorant in the Republican Party.  Ask Democrats running for high office if they think parents should not vaccinate and over 95 percent will say of course they should.  Ask Republicans running for high office if climate change is real and man contributes to it, or if human and primates evolved from a common ancestor, you would be very lucky to have over a third concur.
All ignorance is fair game and I fully believe the government should require immunizations for all children as the danger of un-immunized children is a societal danger, but anti-vaccine ignorance is not nearly as widespread as the others.

Regarding climate change people are generally selfish rather than ignorant. There is enough information floating about that even the most disconnected person can review it for themselves.

I don't know why they even pretend to not get it.

And even when the vostok ice core studies prove them wrong they just keep going moving on to *another* subject with the hope that someone will "salute" it.
In a parade I'd put the "Global Warmers" ("Climate Change") ("Geo Thermal") or whatever they're calling themselves these days (behind) the "U.F.O. People".
They could carry one of those big banners; "Yeah we were lying but we wearn't "really" lying!"
It's funny, I have no doubt that a president like Obama (would) support this nonsense.
You can tell that that "movement" is sociopathic because even when caught in a bold face lie they deny that they lied!
Nice.

Tell you what Popeye, why don't you back up some of your bullshit for once.

Show me where the lies are.

I'll even give you the links:

Historical CO2 Record from the Vostok Ice Core in CDIAC

NOAA Paleoclimatology World Data Centers Vostok Ice Core

Popeye, Popeye, where have you disappeared to now?

I'm still patiently waiting for you to point out the lies.

I seriously think that mental capacity testing should be a yearly event to keep a gun. and intensive and strict.
Guess its a good job I am not running
Ignorance and gun use together  is a very bad problem.

No Lucy, you are clearly wrong.

We need to issue guns to everyone, including the children.

That way we can somehow prevent school shootings and other random acts of gun violence because we are arming more people.

It all makes perfect sense.
