I think to me, submission without a sexual element, is slavery. And I realise that to Goreans and others that may be the point, but even when I'm submitting in a non sexual environment, it is still making me horny as hell. Sex is not all there is to a relationship, of course not, but boy would I miss it if it wasn't there!
(By sex I mean sexual play... not necesarily penetration etc, but sexual aspects, bondage, etc)
Sir and I go and take coffee, spend time together outside of a sexual D/s setting. And it is fantastic, *smiles*. And I am the submissive one even in those settings, serving the drinks, which makes me smile because it makes him happy which is fabulous. But I would miss the sexual, alot.... I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's not the be all and end all, but it does play a main part in most peoples relationships.
