I vote for option #6..."yes, I would like people to use the search feature before posting a thread about a topic that has been addressed over and over and over."

Maybe I'm looking at this a bit too simplistically but what's so difficult with placing a profile on "hide" that doesn't meet your criteria? The majority of pro domme profiles I see are more than obvious and that, in and of itself, should make it easy enough to ignore them if that's not what you (in a general sense) are looking for.

I have so many profiles on hide that I'm now down to a very VERY small pool of fish to swim in, in so far as possible relationship material goes. Does that mean I'm sitting here crying in my cereal? No, it means I'm out making use of other offline opportunities to meet people along with being very selective.

Honestly, I'm always a bit wary of people who need to harp on about this issue. Makes me wonder just how much time they spend online.

My vote was no. As a woman, pro dommes or subs don't effect Me in the least. I don't see the pro issue as any different than anything else. There are men out there who are just trying to get money, cheating on their spouse, or just trying to get laid and nobody ever says there needs to be a "special" category for those profiles. I'm not in favor of anyone being treated like second class citizens.

What I will say is, if any suggestion is being made that a person should have multiple profiles for various reasons (for example, one pro profile and one personal profile) that's not very realistic. I tried opening a second profile for an experiment a couple of weeks ago and it was darn near impossible to keep up between two accounts. After trying it Myself, that's not a suggestion I would give to anyone.

I do agree with Greedy though. I do believe the options for top and bottom should be available.

I have to agree with RavenMuse. This board is for lifestylers. While there ARE prodominants and prosubmissives who are undoubtedly lifestylers, there are many who are not...have a drop down box for those who are so that a person is aware of it when they seek out a profile. That doesn't stop them from reading the profile but it does enable a person to know that when they search for a "non-pro", they will not run into any more "pro" profiles if that is not what they are seeking.

Im sorry i never said make a professional services section i just want them to edit the search criteria so its easier for everyone to find what they are looking for, ive found the ones i care to talk to and im talking to them but i still think this is an up hill battle worth the shit fallin in my face.

How are you predicting the highlighted above? There are absolutely people here now who, upon seeing that a person lists themselves as a pro in the text of their profile, will send that person a nasty gram just because they are a pro. Specifically singling out pros may just make them easier targets.

reread my entire post please instead of the first sentence, im speaking on an assumption here but why would we want someone here thats going to make it harder for us? (Dommes/doms and slaves alike) Lady Pact as far as your question i truly honestly dont know, im sorry it happens but i cant think of a solution to that, report them to CM staff i guess? id like to see that stopped to as its uncalled for. Nobody has time for drama but the ones making it. As far as all the what ifs, they are just that what ifs, all im saying is can we make the search criteria a little more advanced so that everyone will more easily be able to find what they are looking for on this site, yes it may single out the pros, and yes pros in the lifestyle seems to be a very touch subject but i really dont care how you all live your life's, everyone is reading WAY to much into this it isnt about weather pros are good or bad or if they should use collarme or not even though ive made some statements this started out in an attempt to increase the functionality of the search feature. thats all i care about, i am tiered of emailing a women that say nothing in her profile about being pro and then ask for a tribute immediately. I have seen pros in real life and i didnt even tribute them till after coffee (their idea) to make sure we were compatible.
