Cause Description. I think it would be a great idea to extend on the drop down/ Orientation category to include both professional sub/slave Dom/Domme Reasons For the change. It would help enhance the users ability to search for exactly what they are looking for. It would allow http://www.collarme.com users to be able to have more of a selection and help clear up the issues, of people harassing others for being a pro, and other users that consider others fake for not wanting to pay. It will make http://www.collarme.com a happier place. I am also posting this as a petition in the message board. Alot of people get it confused i do not have a problem with Pro Dommes, i just do not desire to serve one unless i am her personal 24/7 live-in slave, i just wish i didnt have to sort through all the pros in order to find the few lifestyle owners left in my age category. I highly doubt that I am the only one either. Poll Options. Yes - yes its a great idea lets do it. No - Not a good idea its fine how it is. Unsure - Unsure ll Help pay the cost, make a membership ill join! - Keep collarme.com free make a preferred member something or other and allow us that wish for better features pay the cost of writing the code and maintenance of the extra features. an annual membership fee kind of like dues to a club.

Fella, there've been a lot of discussions on just this subject, to the point where the regulars get a little testy about it. I disagree that it should be a yes/no situation like you described, because a lot of the pro Dommes are lifestyle Dommes as well. You yourself state that while you don't want to pay a pro, you have no problems treating her as a lifestyle Domme. Think how confusing that would be to her when she's forced to pick her options. I do have to say that I admire you for your offer to write the code. Most people who are dissatisfied with the current system simply want to have changes implemented to please them, with no thought of giving anything in return.

So what would a prodomme do who also wanted a personal submissive? Especially since it's frowned upon to have multiple profiles. In addition, site suggestions should be sent to support, not left on the boards. The mods might not even read this and all they could do would be to forward it for you.

While I see your point and do not wish to argue with anyone on this subject, I still think if they can make 3 or 4 pro profiles, they can make one pro and one lifestyle profile, you have an email for work, and email for personal use yes? While everyone knows i am only talking about pro dommes, you notice i did add in for pro slaves as they do exist. Also have You went on and looked at Female Dominants in the age range 18-30, i have to sort through 10 pages of users just to find a handful that seek a personal slave, and out of that handful i might qualify to serve 2 of them and thats if they find me "worthy" on their end. I do appreciate Your honest opinion thank you, or just ad an age limit, there are barely any pros past the age of 35, so no males or females under the age of 35 of either orientation, i do feel it should be fair, and since its not fair to subs/slaves my age, and all most all the pros are in my age group.....sorry looked stupid with all the misspelled words, forgot to spell check.

trueslave, let me give you some honest feedback. 1. Your posts here show you to be thoughtful and articulate. Your profile doesn't meet that standard. The spelling in your journals is nowhere near as good as in your posts. 2. Your picture is one of the few that shows a background that is actually neat. If that's how you live, that's a huge plus for a Domme who may want housework as part of the deal. 3. Your profile is almost blank. After looking at it, all I know about you is your age and that you work in IT and have a degree in CompSci. If you check out the Ask a Mistress forum, you'll find lots of Dommes complaining about the men that contact them. Because those men are whiners, not wishing to put anything into relationships, wanting a Domme to satisfy them sexually and that's it. You on the other hand have just walked in, made a poll, and discussed its pros and cons with others disagreeing with you, without being argumentative. You've offered to do some of the lifting to make it work. I'm trying to say that you've got a lot more going for you than most male subs. The usual statement to someone like you is that you should go to munches and groups. In your case, since you want to relocate, that's not as good an option. My suggestions: 1. Fill out your profile. State what you offer, and what you want in a woman (not in a Domme. If you approach her as a woman first and Domme second, you score points). 2. Participate in the Ask a Mistress and Ask a Sub/Slave forums. Get to know people. [sm=welcome.gif] to collarme!

what i find hilarious is that you sent me a message to vote on this. IF you had really read my profile- you'd know that I am both a Pro and Lifestyle dominant. With what DesFIP had mentioned, it would negate me to pick just one side of the fence. I've only been on collarme since January of last year, having gone Professional midway from that point until now- this subject matter has become very trite. I give you your due to actually help make changes, but even having "preferred" members makes this NOT a free website- which is the point of collarme. So you have to search through profiles. So does everybody else here. Personally, when looking at profiles for potential personal submissives and/or slaves, I have to sift through wank fodder profiles, "fuck me now" profiles, cheating on their vanilla partner profiles...the list goes on. Are you going to help write code to help sort through that too?

I like the idea of having a pro status tick box.. as well as top/bottom tick boxes.. but I think a person should be able to use multiple choices. so a pro who is also lifestyle culd choose both.. just saying. Welcome to the forums, true :)

To be honest I don't really care either way. It will have zero impact on my life or my time on here, so it's not something I care about. If cm decides to do it, then great. If it doesn't, then great.

This is a whole issue which niggles Me rather.... to explain let Me turn it around for a moment. I know a male sub/bottom who is a professional plumber, that is what he does as a living... Now would anyone here think he would be justified in coming to a site such as this and putting up a profile advertising his services as a plumber... even if he offered to do so naked and refer to them as Mistress for an extra 10%... I think not.... but neither would anyone have an issue for him having a profile as the sub/bottom he is outside of a professional capacity. My feelings regarding pro-tops and pro-bottoms are no different. IMO the lifestyle is about relationships (Even short term ones for one off play)... NOT business arrangements and I do not feel the two should be mixed. No problems with them being here as what they are in their down-time, but the business stuff should be separate just the same as anyone else's business.

The tone and the style of the two kinds of profiles is markedly different. The only sorts who still give me the irrits - and I still don't fully get why they do it - are the baiters and switchers. But no piece of new code-writing is going to flag those up because they'd have to assume honesty. Yes, IF people can choose more than one orientation. I know of several lifestyle subs who are pro-dommes or pro-switches. I doubt the reverse is ever true. I also know lots of pro-dommes who aren't at all into the lifestyle so their profiles should reflect that. If someone is a "money domme" who doesn't get at all turned on by the domination factor, as it seems many on such sites are, then they should also list themselves as pro-domme. I'm a lifestyle domme dabbling in pro-work, though I think my role might be writing, directing and producing. All behind the camera stuff because a lot of FemDom movies (much like vanilla, silver-screen types) lack imagination.

FR There's also the issue that having the option as part of the site means the owners of the site are formally acknowledging that there are adverts for professional services on their site. I know that's caused difficulty with the bank another site used to process donations-it might end up causing trouble for CM too.

Thank You for assuming im new to this, ive been a slave since i was 14 my HS Sweetheart was my first owner n yes she was also under 18. yes i realize quite well how much work it is to be a slave, i am actually just out of a yr long slavery and am still crying myself to sleep every night over her. but ty for assuming im lazy to that infact is not the case, i used to be on here as slave206236590 but i deleted that account because my previous owner told me to. i was 24/7 tpe and was her complete slave. and there was NO SEXUAL relationship for those that assume i was her slave in the bedroom only, i cooked i cleaned i paid her bills, she didnt work, she didnt lift a finger at home i was running literally just to get her some water. n that is partly why my profile is blank and the other reason is i am talking to a lifestyle domme in AZ that i really like n she seems to like me but this has been a mission of mine since before i made this account and i am just trying a new approach.
