Status: offline 		Exactly. Its my right. Based solely upon my thinking skills of my knowledge about youtube and what i was taught in college, as well as life lessons along the way.

What i find to be drone behavior is someone telling a group of people that they dont know how to think and they should follow the lessons laid out by someone else, such as you presented, so we all can think on the same level.

Critical thinking is based upon more than what is written in a series of books.

Indeed. Then you are taking this personally rather than as an option for some who are not aware of critical thinking and or misreading what they see, and or experience. Here's critical thought in a nutshell: go back to basics. Look at the raw fuckin' data, ask it questions, and see what pops up.

If you don't have time for all that shit for every question in your day then find a trustworthy source. This source will cite its sources. On a regular fuckin' basis double-check the sources.

If you don't have time for that - and you won't - to note the newsworthy items of the day/week/whatev read the news. Check their sources.

Most of the really stupid shit that people believe is NOT because they can't do logic. It's because the raw facts are buried under layers of shit, and we uncritical cretins just don't have TIME to verify everything, so we go by what our favorite talking heads say. There is just not that shitall much to be done about things on a sweeping, 'BE MORE CRITICAL EVER'BODY' level. Sorry to bust your -- wait, no I'm not.

Example: That video that gore did about the white places turning into melty places and the cute white bears EATING each other all cannibalism style and what a tragic horror this was ohmygodthe BEARS -- well, the polar bears part of things at least was based on 3 shoddy news articles about attacks that all happened within a sharp radius of each other and were very likely the result of one - count one - aggressor bear. And it was probably your standard territory b.s. bears do and not cannibalism, seeing as how the bears were hardly gnawed on. BUT OHMYGODTHE BEARS!

That's exactly what I see in your video, except it doesn't actually teach critical thinking. It just teaches the favorite social cause punching bags of the vid's authors under the guise of critical thinking education. FUCK. THAT.

So, you're saying you're a defeatist? As I have already said, the only truth that matters is that which is self evident. That doesn't preclude knowledge beyond what one has already or learning to think more clearly about the world one is in. I disagree with your statement on most people being able to do even reasonable logic. The number of people caught up in those 'layers of shit' as you call them is quite real and quite large. Will it change? Certainly not in a defeatist atmosphere.

Very dramatic example of emotional guilt techniques and your verbal pyrotechnics are awesome. but; actually it does teach some critical thinking and provides sources/books for further reading. You did not watch and or digest it all, that is certain.
