I don't see your correlation between being mean and a financial arrangement between a client and a service provider? If you are paying blindly for an internet activity, do you care what they look like if they provide satisfaction in the service you seek? I don’t care what the people at my online banking service look like yet I always enjoy visiting the local branch where the tellers are Daytona beach bunnies. :) As far as your type-o, if that “salve” in my medicine cabinet could pay tribute, I'd be on the Conan show.

This is going to start being My standard answer on this issue: I have the most sincere belief that I have kinks that some other members of these boards have absolutely no desire to be a part of, think are screwed up in some way, or have some other negative comment about. That doesn't make those kinks any less legitimate to Me. While you are completely free to express your own opinion, OP, on your stance in participating is such kinks, when it comes to My kinks, you don't get a vote. Please feel welcome to discuss your view on such kinks, but get the idea that it is a kink that other people enjoy.

Samhain09: It's like anything else on this board. If you don't like the activity, don't participate. If it doesn't get you off, don't do it. If you don't understand it, either try to understand it....or just let it be, because chances are, out there somewhere, there's somebody really into it. Some folks go to Pro-Dommes, some don't. You know, OP, I personally believe people should always try shoes on, at the end of the day, before buying them. There is no way I would buy something at shoes.com unless I already owned the shoe and wanted it in a different color. However I'm not going to legislate against people who do buy shoes with no idea if it fits or not. They want that shoe badly enough to take that risk, then they should be able to take it.

Some people on both sides of the paddle do this. I don't feel that it's any of my concern and I will not pass judgement on same, since it has nothing to do with me. If you do not wish to pay or be charged money for your time, so be it. What other consenting adults do with their time and money is their business. End of story.

I think if they want to pay then let them pay, if not then they shouldn't. I wouldn't do it myself and I might not understand someone who wants to do it, but it's so none of my business what other people choose to do.

From my own perspective, a spell checker is the first thing needed. Secondly this issue is something that I feel just makes me know if I was put in a situation where I had to pay tribute, I wouldn't be in the situation being submission isn't something I should have to pay for as when I find someone to serve,its something I truly give freely. But I suspose I see where the professional dominants are coming from, if these men just came about, open their wallets, and gave out the money, I would certainly take it myself. I just don't see why some slaves are desperate enough to pay money like this.

Never had a woman offer me money on the 'net, except when I was developing a website or app for her. OTOH, I've had plenty of women I'm dating buy me far too much shit. It made me fucking uncomfortable. And you know what? This was MY failing. Not theirs. If they can afford it and want to give me what they've got, then these days I nod my head and appreciate it for what it's worth. They ain't buying me; they're buying the feeling of earning their way, and sometimes just buying a good memory for us together. And that I can totally appreciate. Edit: actually, I forgot. I have had a woman offer me money that I'd never met except online. I turned her down.

For what it's worth, salve would not show as incorrect if using a spell check as it is an actual word even if it isn't the one that was intended by the OP. Also, seeing the typo and grammatical errors in your post the words glass houses and stones come to mind. OP as long as there are people (primarily males) willing to pay a tribute there will be people (primarily females - we think/hope) who will continue to insist upon this. Supply and demand. Each person who chooses to pay a tribute makes what I can only assume is an informed decision to do so [:)]
