Aylee -> Presents! (11/14/2010 7:26:43 AM)

So what is everyone asking for for Christmas, Hanukkah, Yuletide, present season this year?

I want an immersion blender and an electric griddle!

Boring I know, but I like useful things.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 7:39:16 AM)

I'm asking the fam to keep the Xmas tree up until January when I get home.  I'm also asking for a trip to the thrift store (I love thrifting!) for jeans and turntlenecks and some kitchen supplies I can't get here.   And I'm asking for my favorite spice tea to bring back with me.  And decaf coffee... (And you thought you were boring!)

And lots of puppy love from the dogs.

favesclava -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 7:42:00 AM)

No, that is all great!

Frankly I think that ads and such suggest that we want things that we will not really use.

Pearls and diamonds are nice, but what use are they really?  I have them and mostly they stay in their boxes.

Please give me something that I can use!

Spice tea?   What kind, perhaps the monster and I can do a gift basket!  This is of course if I am home enough this season.

I have some flahlights and tool-kits for stockings this year!  Last year I did not get a chance to finish shopping.  [>:]  I am hoping that this year is better!

Awww you are sweet.  I will tell you there is one... Bengal Spice tea by Celestial Seasonings.  I can rarely find it.  They make a couple of fun teas during the holiday season (with cool names like Nutcracker Sweet or something like that) that I usually pick up at the end of the holiday season (DISCOUNTED!) and I will bring them back with me.  When I lived in the States I would do the same thing and it would last me usually through until summer, and then I'd live with my mint tea!

I will say, I'm looking forward to lots of simple things - cottage cheese, farina, electrical plugs that I recognize, instruction manuals in English, yoga that doesn't include beating on your body, driving... It's an amazing thing.  I'm lucky, very lucky to live the life I live, but I also love to go home.

Anyway, it's late.  I'd best get to bed.
*smooches

I have tried the Begal Spice tea.  It is yucky.  However, I will pick some up for you.  If I knew your size I would do the turtlenecks and such as well.

I wish you a great holiday season!

sunshinemiss -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 8:19:25 AM)

Just tea would be fabu!  And that reminds me... cards - to Aunt Fab's house!

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 9:45:59 AM)

I would of loved a laptop, but it's just not possible this year. Then I wanted a hopechest, my dad's been saying he could make for me. And the screen doors he's been promising to make me for almost 3 years.

PeanutTigerinBox -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 9:49:44 AM)

All I am looking for is just peace and quietness....looks like it will be my first year since 2004 where I won't be working on 25th and 26th ...not out of choice (as I could not resist if I would have a chance to go to work, as my inner hamster keeps rushing me to work whenever I can) but as there is no public transport running and the local house has its shifts covered with permanent staff....so unless I catch two sleep-over shifts in london which I can combine via walking or taxi I will have peace and quietness for a change (though...maybe I shouldnt dare to place a bet on it as a moment ago my sofa broke again at another area, leading me to using some more nails to fix it [8|]). Aaaaaaaaaaither way...considering I finally get rid off uni latest on the 3rd of december (one way or another) it might be the time to finally get drunk to just properly unwind [:)]
After all, one of the stupid moving folks accused me of drinking much when I removed a few bottles of wine from a shelf as we had decided to take this in the van as well....but... that having wine and actually drinking it are two different pair of shoes wasn't something he managed to understand [8|]

Either way, I could do well with just duvet time to relax [:)]

Pressies for nephew and friends twin girls are sorted and nothing else needs to bother me in that respect at the moment [:)]

littlewonder -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 11:00:20 AM)

a digital photo frame that rotates to different pics and a nice comfy pair of slippers....

oh and yeah..to spend as much time as I can with the Domly One and that everything continues to go well with my daughter now that she's all on her own away from home.

purepleasure -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 12:46:02 PM)

Some wisdom would be nice. So I make better decisions. Yes, that's what I'd like for Christmas.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 1:12:39 PM)

A cute little girlsub under the tree wearing something barely there and easy to remove.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 1:13:36 PM)

Just some new knickers would be nice  something that actually fit.

The fantasy one is a separate craft room at the back door.  Y'all have not seen my closet yet....

sunshinemiss -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 3:14:02 PM)

*Knickers... must remember to get those...

Icarys -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 3:18:40 PM)

BonesFromAsh -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 3:25:38 PM)

I would be very happy if Santa left THIS for me. [:)]

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 7:49:49 PM)

I want  water proof tennis shoes, well ok they're hiking boots, and I want a space heater, it gets very very cold, and while the regular heater warms the room up nicely, I'd like one just for pointing at my legs and feet.

Aileen1968 -> RE: Presents! (11/14/2010 8:05:25 PM)

I only want one thing...him.

I have that, and love that it takes my expensive attachments [as I cleverly hide the relevant noun ;-) ]

Under my tree, I want a poem, and a sub, [which would be the same thing], and a balance-ball chair.
Here's my poem from last year:
in a Marilyn Monroe 'Happy Birthday, Mr. President' voice:

Santa baby, slip a subbie under the tree for Me;
I've been an awfully good Domme.
Santa baby, I want to hurry up his chimney tonight.

Santa baby, a straight sub, non-convertible, too, eyes blue.
I'll stay Up for him, dear Santa baby, please help Me hurry up his chimney tonight.

Think of all the fun We've missed!
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed :-(
Next year I could be more than good,
If you'd check off my Christmas list.

Boo doop bee doop,
Santa honey, I wanna peg and really it's not that big...
I've been an Angel all year!
Santa baby, help Me hurry up his chimney tonight.

Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need,
The deed to an Astroglide mine.
Santa cutie, help Me hurry up his chimney tonight.

Santa baby, I'm filling his stocking with blindfolds and cuffs, and crops,
Sign your 'X' on the line.
Santa baby, help Me hurry up his chimney tonight

I want to trim his Christmas face
With some collar 'decorations' bought at Leather and Lace.
I really do believe in you;
Let's see if you believe in Me!

Boo doop bee doop,
Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing: a cockring
(I don't mean a phone).
Santa baby, help Me hurry up My subbie tonight,
Hurry up his chimney tonight,
Hurry up My subbie tonight.
