Now that doesn't mean I don't do my bit or at least others might think I'm doing my bit to save the earth. I don't own a car or a cow! I recycle and I use the suns energy and the wind for fuel, hot water and lighting and travel.... we travel by sail. That's probably a lot more than most of the world population are doing to save mother earth but we just don't kid ourselves that, that's what we are doing.

Solar forcing has been studied out the wazoo for years now by people with far better backgrounds than yours (presumably, since you won't cite any credentials). It's simply not driving the warming trend. In fact, we are in a waning solar phase right now, even as we warm further.
