They are a totally cute couple!  I wish them much joy together!!

She is a "commoner"   LOL.    How quaint!   lol

" Commoner " in this context only means she is not from royal lineage. Her parents are millionaires.

I like the fact that he gave her his Mum's engagement ring. I would give my left ovary for just the stone itself. < saphire >

Arpig, William's mother was by all appearances and accounts a lovely, intelligent and gracious woman who did her best in an odd situation, even as her husband fooled around on her with someone else's wife and only married her to satisfy his mother. Really sir, referring to the honorable dead as "twits" is, especially in this case, in exceedingly poor taste.

There is nothing honourable about her, she was a spoiled brat who couldn't handle the job. The fact that she died unnecessarily in no way changes the facts, nor does it beatify her, despite what many seem to think.

Personally, they should elope to Vegas......I mean, really...who needs all that spectacle?  Bad enough the press hounded their mother to death...literally.  She tried so hard to keep the kid's life private.  It seemes to have worked, they both have their moments, but for the most part, turned out pretty good.

I do wish them all the luck and peace that Diana never had......

Errr, wasn't Diana courting the press left right and center and even doing that "Tell all" interview on TV? I find it a bit funny how certain celebs court the media whenever it suits them but at a drop of a hat they want their peace and quiet.

Btw. I was very small when Diana died, but as far as I remember she was in a very public place, where she knew there would be paparazzis, she didn't use the discrete side exit but made sure she was seen.

As for not having had peace, she was born into the whole society, I would think that even somebody who's not very smart would realize that if you're aspiring to be Queen, you're not really signing up for peace and quiet but to be a public persona, she did seem to enjoy publicity very much when it suited her...

Oh hog wash!

She was the best thing to happen to that family in over a century.

I don't think one needs to insult the dead, but by all means, somebody who barely scraped by in school is possibly not a very intelligent person. And big ears wasn't the only one doing the fooling around. Do you think she would have married Charles if he wouldn't have been heir to the throne but a builder? His looks and the age difference might have mattered without his position.

If we could only sell them to the Yanks, you got Becks and Posh wouldn't Kate and Will make the collection complete? I haven't quite figured out what use they are here apart from costing a lot of money.

You are entitled to your opinion, however misguided it may be.

I have to agree here. She was a spoiled brat who courted the press whenever it suited her and complained about them when she did not need them. Friends were only friends while she needed them. All in all not a very nice person at all.

Actually she did more damage to the Royal Family than anyone else in recent years.

You mean the prank phone calls to men she was obsessed with that were so bad that the police had be involved, the out of control spending, the public affairs, her trying to show up the Royal family at every turn, deliberately upstaging others...

Though Harry does his best to keep the scandals alive...

Yep added to the various affairs she had. Harry looks so much more like James Hewitt (another "friend" Diana treated very badly) than Charles.

Or maybe it was the owners of that land mine company!  We couldn't bump into the profit margin- could we?
