Status: offline 		Just a question to you master.  I have learnt a position with my master which is the following I kneel on the floor with legs open head bowed and wrists facing up right.  I was allowed to go to the club yesterday and the person I went with told me that to him it is dis respectful  What are you views on this position and why

I don't understand why this position would be viewed as disrespectful. Perhaps not to another's liking, but not without respect. It is possible the one in question prefers eye contact, or an entirely different protocol in kneeling position or presentation. The basic rule to follow is simple: your Master determines what is best, not the kink club collective.

It's to each their own, but the way I learned this position protocol would be palms 'down', not up. Perhaps that is why this person viewed it as disrespectful. It implies the slave should be given something.. as in an item or object being put into the open hand which is an expectation rather than an anticipation.

Or, it could be the guy is an ass. Bottom line, if that's the position your Master gave to you to use, that's the one you should be using.

Status: offline 		see, here is where everything falls apart.  Many studies have been done in body language that say women are showing vulnerablility when showing their palms.  Are they true?  Who the fuck knows?  Another sect may think that it shows they have no weapons.............

It is like women, the toilet seat is down 'cause I say so.
For a Master, the correct position is the one that pleases him, 'cause he says so. Do it, think no more about it...end of joke.

I was trained originally to kneel palms up. I was also TOLD why. This is in case I need to hold His whip, or flogger, or martini glass. Also, it is symbolic of the direction I want from Him.. I want to be told what to do.

Just my two bits.

I know you're about 3 hours away, but Jay Wiseman's coming in next weekend for a lecture series ::and subsequent play party!:: .. don't suppose you'll be attending? Modify the position so you sit with head up tits thrust out and you have Nadu one of the prefered positions by Gorean masters for assuming you wear no uderwear it doisplays you sexually in a slave position... one I expect a girl to adopt when kneeling before me but not what I'd expect her to adopt when kneeling before a Free Woman... Status: offline 		Positions were designed for practical and meditative purposes. Some are designed as a promotion to an activity-sex or mental/physical bondage.

Others are used for "display", artistic and objectification.

And others yet are used to help a slave to connect with thier submissive spirit.

As others have said-these are the Choice of your Master-pay no mind to what the uninitiated say-it is meaningless to your personal dynamic.

Discard it.
