Branding on human skin is a dicey proposition at best. most of the folks that I know who have tried it either ended up with something that faded as described earlier in the thread, or with something that was not at all delicate and becoming, rather turned into a big, clunky, ugly scar. Scarification is probably your best bet if you want something that looks "brand like" but is somewhat delicate and becomming. A number of folks that I know have used that approach to apply a "Kef" to a slave's thigh with good results. Others go for the more mundane but reliable tatoo. On a side note, think long and hard about branding, scaring or tatooing a slave with a personal mark of some kind. In the culture that I came up in, it is traditional to mark the slave's collar with the identity of the owner, but the brand, scar, or tatoo simply marks them as a slave. I know that we all have good intentions when taking a slave to keep them for the long haul, but things (as we all know) don't always work out that way. Take care of yourself, Leonidas
