I want to loose 100 pounds in four months. What is the safest way to do this? I would like to donate my skin to a burn center after the weight comes off. ~Slave Maranda~

1) Don't. The safe rate for weight loss is a max of 2-3 pounds a week unless specifically told otherwise by a doctor who is monitoring you. And that is max - when I was losing weight (about 50 pounds) a rate of .5 to 1.5 a week was preferred.

2) I'm not sure it's possible to donate the skin. You would have to call the burn centers and find out.

If you truly want to lose weight fast, I strongly suggest seeing your doctor and getting nutritionist and personal trainer who will guide you through this.

Saddly I cannot afford the assistance of the specialists you mentioned. I never knew only 2 or 3 pounds was acceptable. My doctors always said 10. Thank you for the input.

I'm surprised to hear that you had doctors that said ten! Granted, it's entirely possible there are unique circumstances but I have always heard 2-3 pounds max and that anything faster is very unsafe.

I completely understand money being an issue. If you have a little extra, I really would suggest checking out the Weight Watcher pricing plans. They can provide a lot of information on safe weight loss, nutrition, exercise and the meetings are a wealth of information on how to save money on everything involved in weight loss. I did find that, as I went through the program, I spent a lot less on food which helped pay for the program itself.

Good luck!

Don't. If you succeed, it will only be temporarily, for there will be a backlash - and there might be medical complications.

Get more exercise, for example by walking dogs or doing a newspaper or mail delivery, either walking or on a bicycle.
Go to a swimming pool once a week at least.
Do a daily, short dance routine in your living room if possible.
Do not overdo the exercise: you might drop dead.

Take a good look at your diet and throw out some superfluous stuff.

Your target ought to be to lose ten kilograms in a year; that in my opinion is a lot. Gradually, in a natural way, by changing your diet and style of living. In five years you will have lost fifty kilograms, which is approximately the desired 100 pounds.

Be happy.

What's your current situation?  If you eat nothing but deep fried Twinkies, then I can make an obvious suggestion.

Eat well.  Lots of veggies and salads.  Do not eat the same stuff, but just less of it - change what you eat.

Exercise is good.

If you drink, quit.

Just curious, why the 4 month time frame?
Slow is better and changing your diet.
It will stay gone more readily then.

Good luck.

Perhaps 1 out of every 1000 personal trainers is actually worth half the money you pay them.

If you're looking for the fastest ways to lose weight in terms of exercise, get yourself a 25lb kettlebell from WalMart. Kettlebell training is incredibly simple, and can yield incredible results. Thanks to the MMA explosion, kettlebells are becoming more and more used, but they were being used in Russia for decades before with great success.

What makes kettlebells so good is that they combine aerobic and anaerobic workouts into one. That's what makes them superior to JUST running (which is terrible for you anyway), or JUST lifting weights. Take the basic two hand kettlebell swing. It's a constant, fluid motion that's natural for your body. It's that constant motion that makes it aerobic. However, you need to use your muscles to keep that weight swinging up. That's your anaerobic. Both your cardio and your muscles are demanding oxygen, are working at equal intensity. Two for the price of one.

I have three reasons besides wanting to help burn victims, I wish to be more desirable to my Owner. I want my body to stop hurting and because I have lost 150 pounds in nine months before but then I had pretty much stopped eating and excersised about three to four hours a day AND I was about 12 years younger.

As far as my diet I pretty much eat what is given to me by folks that feel sorry for me. There are times I go three or four days on just water and icecubes. But then there are days where I eat until I almost can't move because when I am able to buy food for myself I get so excited that I gorge myself.

okay from what you just wrote, you don't NEED to lose 100 lbs in 4 months but want too.  And i believe you won't be able too.  If you are having trouble getting on a stable and continuous diet now, as you are depending on handouts, how you can change your diet.

Secondly, i am curious if you can't even buy food, how you expect to have surgery to get rid of loose skin?   Since paying for organs is illegal, i don't believe you will legally find a place to remove the skin for you for free.  So 1) i think you should forego the loose skin process until you actually have lost the weight, burn victims will still be around.  2) where is your owner while you are existing on water and ice cubes and where is your owner when people are giving you food because they feel sorry for you?  I think your owner should be taking some responsibility in getting you a stable influx of food before you start worrying about your appearance.  3)  you aren't going to be able to loose 100 lbs in 4 months.  With eating differently and exercising you probably could do it in 8 or 9.  However, until you have a stable influx of food its going to be harder than heck because your body is probably in starvation mode which means you will need to get your metabolism back on track.

I don't mean to be a bad news bearer but its time you need to in my opinion become more realistic.  Also, if you are planning on doing something drastic like losing 100 lbs in 4 months or trying, you should do so under a Doctor's supervision.   As you have found out crash weight loss does not set you up for maintaining same.

Take it a day at a time, exercise a little more every day and get yourself on a stable eating schedule.  Again, where is your owner while you are existing on water and icecubes and charity?

angel

Erm... You say in another thread that you are a member of a poly house. Where the hell is your owner- who you think is worth being with even though you don't like poly - while you are just on water and ice? Valyraen won't let a friend go hungry, much less his girl.

What about your sister slave?  Does she also beg for food?  This thread really says a lot about you and your owner and your household.

100 pounds in 4 months will kill u. i lost 40 in 3 and am stuck on a plateau because you cant handle it without making significant changes ALL aspects in your life.
if you are in an unstable situation with food as handout i suggest you get to a safe place like a shelter for women where food is elementary....

if u need a friend....pm me
i am certainly an understanding person....i also have 100 to go.....1 pound equals 350 cals.....equates 350,000 cals to lose 100 pds.
can do it on icecubes or apples or twinkees but you have to teach your body what is healthy and its simple and its about discipline.....cant be a good slave with no discipline in your diet  ya know...
good luck and holler if u wish

before you start trying to lose weight you need to get a healthy life mentally. Sorry but it doesn't sound like any part of your life is healthy right now.

You aren't going to loose weight by starving yourself. If you truely are starving yourself then your body will save and hoard everything you eat, and eventually with out enough nutrition will start eating itself.

You are having serious problems and whatever weight issue you have is the least of your problems.

Indeed: where is your dominant? Is he actually a dom, or is he a pretend dom? Why doesn't he take care off you, or make sure that you or someone else takes care of you. Not eating and then gorging is completely out of whack.

I do not think that you have divulged all. And even if you did, our counsel likely would be inadequate. I suspect that you require professional help. If your dom is unable to be responsible for you, then you must be responsible for yourself - and the first thing to do is to recognize that you do need help and that perhaps your mind might be so much off balance that you cannot be responsible for yourself, as evidently your life already is out of control.

I apologize for being this blunt, but from what little I know being blunt is what is called for.

This is not the only issue, she started a thread in the poly forum regarding issues within the poly household

I gathered as much from the earlier posts by you and AS.

A poly household must be balanced, with the members complementing each other like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. I gather that hers is not balanced.
