I have to agree with darq. What's wrong with her given name? Not that I can throw stones, as "feastie" certainly isn't my given name...lol. Aside from that, if you are insistent on giving her a name of your choosing, then it should be something that carries a significant and special meaning to you. It should reflect who she is and how you feel about her. It should be, unique. My own name, feastie, for example. It was given me many years ago, and was so unique that it has stuck with me all this time, even after the relationship ended. His reasons for choosing it, (or rather "feast") have also remained with me, partly because they're just mushy, poetic, romantic stuff (yes, I'm a romantic, ya'll couldn't tell? [8D]) and partly because he meant every word of it.

Why not look for a name in another language that has a similar meaning to what you want so that it doesnt sound too obvious but both of you will know what it means to you.

the name He calls me has meaning for me and is an aspiration i have, especially in my service to Him. perhaps discuss with her what names or concepts are important to her, and you can find a name that fits along those lines?

actually i love the idea of a slave name. When i started seeing my Dom we came up with a name. My own name just didn't sound right comming out of his mouth. He is not the only person who calls me this. Many of my very close friends call me this as well. Its almost getting to the point now where my given name sounds strange to me.
