the only other folks i have meet with a _______ supremacy in their identifying group name were really vile people so hearing female supremacist as i currently see it makes my skin crawl a bit.

was curious as to those who have this as a interest/lifestyle choice of what exactly it is beyond a basic statement as i probably have a very bad misconception (and liky alot of others do)

This might not be the best place to ask-aren't too many female supremacists on the boards. They tend to get laughed at, because most of us are pretty fond of our manly ones, even if we bitch a bit sometimes.

Good points.

The idea of granting any race, religion, or gender superior status strikes me as ridiculous and also demeaning to the individuals within it. For example, I think a lot of ol' VC above, but it's due to the posts she's made here and some PM conversations I've had with her as a person, not just due to whether her sexual organs are innies or outies. Saying that she's due automatic respect because she's female is just weird and is a bit of a putdown of her as a person.

While I wouldn't go so far as to say that someone is vile who includes that as an interest, I can tell you that it is a very quick way for Me to know that I'm not compatible with someone. You might be surprised how many males will mention in an initial contact about their belief in the 'superior female'. I can't say with any certainty if that is what they really believe or if a lot of male subs are operating under the misconception that they believe that is what Dominant women want to hear. In My case, it has the opposite effect. I'm very much of the same mind of what Steven says here above, especially in a D/s sense. If someone feels all women are superior, it isn't the same as them evaluating Me as a person and wanting so submit because of who I am.

I dislike female supremacists personally. I tend to put them in the same category as the sheet monkeys and skinheads: Uneducated, bigoted jackoffs.

I agree, it does dehumanize the people involved. I am submissive to A woman, not ALL women. I submit to that one woman because I love her, and she has earned my submission.

Gosh, you know Geoff, I don't know about putting them in the same category as the KKK and skinheads...I think it is more of a fantasy wish fulfillment without the hate if you know what I mean. Now when the Female Supremacists start burning effigies of men on people's lawns, I will jump in with you.

Ok Otter, I will admit they are not violent like the other groups are, but I do get the feeling that they hate men.

It is a fun sort of fantasy, in a science-fiction-y, roleplaying kind of way. A story or roleplaying scenario set in a society where women were the privileged class and men were always slaves could be pretty hot. It's definitely a place I like to vacation.

But to live there? Not so much. Last I checked, my brains were not in my vagina. It's actually pretty insulting to women to think that all it takes is tits and a vaj to be "superior", not to mention insulting to men. Hell, it's insulting to the whole human race. In any species that evolves sexual dimorphism, it happens for a reason. Not because one is superior, but because both are crucial.

Neuroscience has determined that there are gender influenced differences in how the brain optimizes and prioritizes specific functions, and that data is fairly well known. But going from there to deciding that one is overall "better" than the other makes absolutely no sense. Better at what? It's a completely meaningless statement in the absence of a meaningful measure. In terms of fitness to survive and pass on one's genes, the notion of one being more successful than the other is inherently silly. Duuuh, that's why sexual dimorphism evolved. Having two sexes is a species-wide survival strategy.

Whether one gender, generally speaking, is likely to perform better in a specific task is entirely dependent that task. A more general function like "leadership" can be optimized in ways that play to the strengths of either gender. In addition, very few individual brains will perfectly fit their neurotypical gender profile; wiring varies significantly by individual, over a spectrum. Of course all science flies out the window if you are trying to formulate some manner of non rational, religious, emotional or supernatural criteria by which some people pass and some people don't. As far as I can tell, that's all "supremacy" is.

In short, the best evidence says it's bull-doody. But it sure is a hot fantasy, so we can roleplay "superior woman and lowly male slave" and have tons of fun. My guess is that most of the people into female supremacy are consciously identifying with it as a fantasy, and probably don't actually believe that men are inferior in any general sort of way. The ones who do are deluding themselves, not to mention missing out on getting to know some remarkable human beings who are worthy of respect.

It's not my thing but for most it's more a life-style thing that does it for them, most of them don't really think that all women are superior and all men are inferior.

Taking the whole supremacy thing seriously is like saying women can't be dominant... Don't get me started how many mails I get from "dominant guys" who do inform me that I am just looking for the right dom - sheesh, how could I not notice that for decades?

What business would it be of yours, if you don't enjoy a particular lady's kink... Eating her scat would be okay, but if she says fem supremacy to you, that is where you draw the line.

I love the "they get laughed at" responses, especially from the ladies.   It's a kink, on a kink site! I didn't want to type the whole thing again, so here it is repeated

....Human doormats aren't really doormats. Even the so called worthless worms, aren't.    Why is it so difficult to comprehend the concept that personal relationship philosophies often differ vastly from how we relate to the world at large?     When anyone calls himself a dominant, does he really mean to infer that he goes around assuming authority over "all" others, in "all" areas of life, and doing to them as he wishes?

Fem supremacy is fairly absurd in a paternalistic, male dominated society...      And yet, here we are, dominant women, relating to, or seeking to relate to men who are down with that kind of thinking for personal relationships.

I used to become uncomfortable when these threads came up, given the fact that in everyday life, I am an unassuming black lady, aware of a good amount of history, who prefers to avoid conflict, and only takes the lead when there is a vacum/need.   I am not on collarme to find the type of relationship most people are comfortable with or necessarily approve of.    I've had lovely D/s relationships, where the ranks simply were, and discussion of supremacy never came up, as we were simply ourselves enjoying the symbiosis.

Evidently, even the dominant women here feel that supremacy, or dominant rank and authority, should be left to the men as that is the way of the world, or natural order of things.   At least so it would seem...
I would just love to one day see one of these threads begun in "ask a master," or "gorean lifestyles."    Inquire about the kind of thinking that says women ought to be their submissives or slaves... In fact, ask them where they get off thinking that way, and wanting what they want?   This of course never happens, because the women don't dare, and men generally don't hate themselves enough to break the image in the mirror IMHO.    M

I am a male submissive.I can't buy the whole Female Supremacy idea.To me,any society that encourage's racial or gender supremacy over any other group of people is foolish.I can understand the fantasy aspect to it and I am sure most who believe in Female Supremacy are probaly non-violent.Still,in reality,it only encourage's more false sterotype's into society.

Thing is, as a kink it's really fun. I do it as a kink.

If you take the attitude into reality, that's where it gets all kinds of fucked up. I have friends of all different genders and orientations whom I appreciate and respect. If someone is oriented differently from me, it does not make them "inferior", regardless of what I may enjoy doing with my consenting adult partners inside our own scene space. My own gender and orientation does not make me "supreme" over people I'm not in a relationship with or scening with. There are all kinds of words for people who do act that way, and none of them are complimentary.

You have friends of all orientations that you don't think of as inferior or superior. I'd like to think we all have basic social skills.

I'll assume you don't go around training your friends and random strangers, if you'll assume that I too realize the problem of supremacist thinking. As a kink though, I'll take it over diaper/scat play any day. I hope that's clearer. M
